SPEAKER_02We have limits on this channel, guys.
SPEAKER_05We have limits on this channel.
SPEAKER_03We have limits, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But guys, what's up?
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, let me tell you everybody. We got some other limits too. I'm gonna tell you what the limits are. No more physical media is my limit. Oh, we're going right into it. Oh, listen, we're right into it. Okay, we're gonna listen.
SPEAKER_02Fuck everybody's a day and week, whatever. Let's just get straight to it, Mario. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Well, here we'll hear Vic. Why don't you drop Vic drop the headline and I'll bounce off of it. Okay.
SPEAKER_05So just a few days ago, um, Sony just announced. First of all, wait, let me back up. Sorry, sorry, sorry. About a week ago, when GTA announced its prices and what's gonna be included with the, you know, the ultimate edition or the uh what's it called, Mario?
SPEAKER_03Uh well yeah, there was the deluxe? Yeah, the yeah, it was the ultimate edition. It's the base of the ultimate.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so uh they announced there's not gonna be any physical discs for the game, right? So you're gonna be digital purchases. You can buy a physical case, but it's gonna have a code that you then put into your system to download the game.
SPEAKER_07I went to GameStop to get a couple games because they were having like a if you're a GameStop member, you get like a buy two, get one free like use game type of thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I bought a bunch of games, I bought Tiny Tina's Wonderland, I bought Resident Evil Biohazard, and I bought the complete collection of uh Bioshock. But while I was sitting there talking to the guy, I was he's the one that actually told me that there's not gonna be any physical copies of GTA 6, and then I was like, so there's no possible way. And he was like, Well, I can give you the empty box with like a QR code inside.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Bro, bro, even GameStop employees are like, What the fuck am I doing? Oh is no one questioning the map. I wanted the map. Does it come with the map? Well, GTA 5 came with a map they were. You know, it comes with a little like you unwrap it and it's a map. I ain't I ain't never played GTA. I thought it would be sick. GTA was gonna be one of the few physical games I went out and got that aren't retro, so I could put the the map out. Because how cool would it be to have the map for GTA 6? It's a big event. I gotta post it.
SPEAKER_05It's the biggest map ever too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know. Recently I've been dude, no physical. Listen, it should always be an option. Here's the thing, too. There, oh god, this is so multi-layered, bro. Because I I haven't been buying physical media in terms of new age discs for a while, because the discs are truly just the codes in the box. Because you really, like, if you had no internet and you put that thing in, it really wouldn't work. So I've been kind of adverse, or like I'd I've been kind of avoiding a lot of the new age physical media. I still buy my PS2, my N64, all that stuff, but like I've been avoiding the new age uh physical media because like it's pretty much a code, but and the thing that I hate is like listen, if people don't have internet or they they pay for it, I I don't know. Another thing that gets me is like you're telling me that like you're not even willing to like it's like, oh well we put a it cost us too much money to to release it physically. It's like that's great. Why does the digital copy cost the same amount?
SPEAKER_08More. Why are you even calling more? What are they selling for like $70?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like the gaming industry's is gonna pop, bro, because it's like, oh, well, we save money by releasing it digitally only and everyone buys it digitally only. It's like, that's great. I'm glad you save money. Can my game be cheaper? Yeah, yeah. Because now they're and now GTE6 is is going crazy because they're also like, oh, by the way, there's gonna be a couple of shops. Like, you're telling me if I go virtually into downtown Miami, I can't enter a Lululemon store because I didn't buy the $100 edition. You're wait, whoa, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're cutting off literal stores in the just a few.
SPEAKER_05But not meaningless stuff. I think it's a a car uh detailer shop. Some like it was some shit that is actually wanting to be.
SPEAKER_03Some specific things that they're literally, if you're watching GTA, they're gonna be like, oh, you didn't buy you didn't buy that version, sorry. So, in my opinion, here's what I think. Okay, that so that version to get all that is a hundred dollars. That to me says GTA 6 costs $100. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's what I Well you can purchase it post-purchase, too.
SPEAKER_03I guess, but it's like, what am I? Okay, so I'm paying $80 for the light version. I was literally gonna say that. I'm buying GTA light for the for $80.
SPEAKER_05It's like getting $2K with no VC.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_07If you're gonna spend the $80, might as well just spend the two, the 20 at the end. And they know they're gonna get it.
SPEAKER_03And now it's they know they're gonna get it.
SPEAKER_07Bro, they're definitely doing it because it's all quote unquote too expensive to make the physical copies. No, because now all that money is gonna go straight back into you instead of having to pay for a lot of people like copy makers or whatever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And a lot of people are like, oh, well, what are you gonna have? Four Blu-ray discs?
SPEAKER_03Yes. Uh I don't insert disc too. I don't know.
SPEAKER_07I remember playing Halo 4 and having to insert that extra DLC disc or downloadable disc or whatever, downloadable content.
SPEAKER_03Like, bro, listen, I know physical is like mostly a licensing code, but like these companies, like, bro, if there's no internet or it goes down, or you, like Sony last week, took 500 movies off of the per so they lost the their discovery deal ran out and they lost the rights. So if your ass bought like Terminator 2 on PlayStation in like 2010, you lying. They rip it, they ripped it away. Like nothing is yours anymore. So, like, you're telling me that in 10 years, Rockstar could be like, nah, that's ours. But well, I paid you $100 in 2026. Like, I don't care. You said you signed up for the terms and conditions. And Sony's also trying to make it to where if you don't log on to your PlayStation within like three years, they'll email you and you got six months, but if you don't log in again, they take they delete your account. All you get. So I'm like, bro, literally like own nothing and be happy, bro. And I'm just like, the GTA thing is like, is is kind of just like the nail in the coffin, I think, for physical media for games, because it's like it was already happening. That is so which is why I I hate these modern the modern discs annoy me because I still wouldn't be able if I pick it up from the store and didn't already have it downloaded on my game, or if I didn't already have it like connected to the internet or something, I couldn't immediately put it in. I don't know. It it's a really weird they've been they've been getting away from physical media for a long time, and I hate it. And this is just the big they know they can do it, and they're doing it, and it's gonna make all these other developers follow suit, and it's just like GTA, PlayStation, it's one in one right now, and it's just very it's very frustrating, man. I love physical games. What do you guys think?
SPEAKER_02Um I will say this, and you know, I know this is a gaming podcast, I know we talk about games and movies and and everything like that, but you have to understand, like, there used to be laws that would stop PlayStation Sony from doing shit like this, and I just feel like where we're moving, where we're going, it's like, okay, when it it's just not Sony, it's Netflix, it's all these streaming services, these game platforms that yeah, you pay us every month for a service, but we can take whatever the fuck we want to take out of rotation. You know what I'm saying? So my thing is, is like the shit that is happening right now, there has to be some type of community that's like, hey, I paid fucking $200 for this game. You're not gonna take this away from me. Like, what is going on right now? Like, fuck your agreements, fuck like there needs to be some type of accountability because people keep spending money getting the games, thinking that the games are gonna stay in their, you know, their library. And no, PlayStation, Nintendo, all of these, these, these gaming uh software, they can just take whatever the fuck they want to take whenever they want to take it. So I just like I was just reading this, man. I'm just like, this is fucked up for the consumer. Like it really is. Like all the stuff that we are paying for right now is like, what are we doing? Like, what are we doing? Like my favorite show just got taken off of Netflix two weeks ago. I was pissed.
SPEAKER_05So it's just like Netflix is a little different though, because it's a sub, it's a subscription. So you don't really own anything on there. You just pay to see what they provide. Yeah, to peruse. Now, if you buy a game for $30, $25, $15, and then they're like, hey, we're no longer supporting this game, it's kind of we, I mean, we talked about this before in the past, but now it's it's really alarming because physical distance is essentially going away, which we've seen this had come in for a while. Yeah. But it's like with 2K, the reason why 2K and well, not even man, but 2K didn't get in trouble for this shit, because they've been doing this for years, where like the My Career, when you create your own player, those older games, the the park is shut down. So you couldn't, like let's say if I went and bought 2K20 today and I wanted, I just wanted to play an older model. If you put it in the game, there's certain game modes that you can't access with or without internet because they're like, yeah, we're not supporting this anymore. They're only supporting the newer parks. So it forces you to rebuy the game every year if you want to do a specific mode. So it's like we've been seeing the greed from these companies for a long time. But it's it's just very different. Because like after GTA announced it, Sony's been ready to announce it, but I think when GTA, when Rockstar came out and said it, right, they were like, yeah, let's go ahead and announce it to everybody, like, get ready for the PS6 coming out and the shit. And we're like, PS6? It's gonna be fully digital.
SPEAKER_07It's PS Are they doing this because there's no like room in the servers to keep up these old games? I don't know. I'm trying to I'm trying to think of like why they would do this besides money.
SPEAKER_05They're doing it for margins. They're doing it for margins. Like it makes sense, bro. Like, we all they're gonna make way more money with no discs. They don't have to manufact, they don't have any manufacturing costs, no shipping costs. You can make your own price on the PlayStation store, Xbox store, yeah, whatever, all that shit.
SPEAKER_07All I know is that Wolverine is gonna be physical. That's it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07So my boy at games announced that. Shout out my boy.
SPEAKER_03They didn't announce that with your boy at games. Well, here's the thing. Okay, GTA is doing it for margins. That makes sense. Not a lot of people do the so the game developer, the game developers will do it for margins. PlayStation, though, I think, is a little bit more nefarious where it comes to like we can control the entire narrative. Because now, if we sell a game, I know for a fact your ass can't undercut us by buying it from your friend or buying it from a secondhand store, third party, whatever. We control the entire narrative.
SPEAKER_05And that's the part of ownership that's the worst part. Is like you you taking away value from the consumer. I give you money, I get nothing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. It's like and even still, it's like, okay, I can go like the the the biggest part is like they control the entire narrative, so it's and they they don't have to support things, they have more terms and conditions that can cover more things, they can, I don't know, they can do so much stuff. And and I know a lot of people will Steam does it. It's like, yeah, but Steam is like pretty consumer friendly for what they are. And I know Sony has a lot of good deals year-round. However, they're also been known to blatantly, just like a week ago, rip away 500 movies because their rights ran out and they didn't want to pay for it, and they don't care because you signed that agreement.
SPEAKER_05Also, Mario, don't forget that uh they do that dynamic pricing bullshit. And not everybody sees the same price on the PlayStation store. They got lawsuits, they got lawsuits right now. Because people in different depending on which region you are or depending on what games you play, you know this shit is all AI based. AI is tracking what games you play, so they give certain people discounts to certain games they think they're gonna buy, and other people they keep it full price. Because if you buy it for full price, guess what? We win. Either way it goes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like games we picked for you because you keep clicking it, but never buy it.
SPEAKER_05And I'm not saying I don't Microsoft isn't as bad. I know they they announced it too, like the day or two after so.
SPEAKER_03Wait, they announced it officially that the Xbox isn't gonna be?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Xbox, the next Xbox console is gonna be digital. All digital. Yep. What? Really?
SPEAKER_03I don't know if they officially announced that.
SPEAKER_05As a physical media fan, I'm not I am mad that they're taking away physical discs, but I think it's more so the way they're going about it. Like, I think if Sony would have came out and said, hey, we're doing away with physical discs, but we're creating this uh this website, this marketplace where you can trade digital games or you can resell your digital game, or like, you know, we're gonna tighten up ownership. But why would they do that? Because they're a corporation, they take every penny.
SPEAKER_03So is that a rumor? Or did Xbox actually say they're trying to build like an actual like front like that? For the all digital? No, no, for like for the trading. Did Xbox actually? Oh no, no. That was just an idea. That was an idea. Oh, yeah, yeah, because all I heard was Xbox was like trying, there was like a rumor. I don't know if that Xbox announcement was a fit was I can't find any official sources, but um or I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I just I like I like my physical when I'm gonna do it.
SPEAKER_03Another thing too much happens, they were like, oh, well, there's a rumor that you're gonna be able to transfer your disc into a digital license, and I'm like, yeah, that's fine. However, I'm gonna tell you what, I ain't putting that shit, I'm not transferring that shit if it means you rip it away from my disc. I'll tell you what, right now, I'm not giving I'm not giving you it and now signing up for take it away whenever you want. Rob me, please. Yeah. No way, dude.
SPEAKER_07It's it's literally giving that. I I don't know if this is kind of the along the same things, but it's like that stupid thing that happened at Disney where the guy's wife died at Disney World, and then Disney said that they couldn't sue he couldn't sue them because he has Disney Plus, and in the fine print, it was like, because you have Disney Plus, you can we're basically allowed to like you're not allowed to like come at us or like do anything.
SPEAKER_03And it was like a free trial.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, and it's like, bro, they know we're not gonna read all of this. That's why they put it all there. Yeah, but now I feel like we have to because they're doing sneak, they're they're sneaking and weaken.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_07They're trying to snag.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna I'm gonna be I'm gonna be real frank with you. Corporations have always been sneaky, my dude. Corporations, they have always been sneaky, and I didn't even know about that story. I'm gonna I'm gonna research that story. That story's insane. Yeah, that story is crazy. Crazy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And he didn't even sue them for that much. He sued him for like 50,000. I was like, bro, if my wife died, I'm shutting you down.
SPEAKER_02I'm suing you for Disney. Um yeah, I want to do that. Because Disney Plus is adjacent to that is in the adjacent to the whole world. So Disney World, Disneyland, anything that has to do with Disney, they can that's yeah, that they put that shit in the fine print on purpose. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, no, it's it's physical.
SPEAKER_05It's just Hey Mario, you was you was right. I need to make a correction. Xbox hasn't phys uh formally announced that they go on full.
SPEAKER_03Everyone's like, Xbox has the chance to do the funniest thing ever. Because remember in 2013 when they were they were trying to make it so you couldn't share games and then they made that commercial, and I'm like, you think Xbox, Xbox is gonna be like, yeah, guys, we're gonna do that thing, we're gonna make it. No, Xbox is gonna do the same damn thing. Yeah, remember how I said I was like, everyone's like, oh, Asha Sharma's amazing. I'm like, that's great. I'm gonna judge her tenure when it's over. Correct. Not right now, bro.
SPEAKER_02You said that. You said that.
SPEAKER_03And there's like chess pieces to it because it's like Asha Sharma was the head of AI at Microsoft, and yes, maybe she was doing what she was told. However, if you're the head person of Microsoft, you probably helped uh create a like you probably helped create all of the AI software that needed to buy up all the RAM, which then increased the price of consoles, then you become you become the president of the console. Not only consoles, increasing the price of the console.
SPEAKER_02All of that, bro. Like they're there. I feel sorry for what's about to happen in the next couple of months. Like everything is going to be a good thing.
SPEAKER_03The gaming industry is scary right now, bro. It's gonna pop, dude. It's gonna now it's like it it's honestly, it's well, I mean, vote with your wallets, but I think it's gonna be like it makes me just want to buy PS2 games. Oh. You're like, it makes me just want to go and buy old stuff. You know, because you just uh I was I was playing, I I turned on Final Fantasy X almost like an hour ago on my little TV, and I'm like, you put game in, turn on game work.
SPEAKER_06Yay, no internet, no nothing.
SPEAKER_02I do feel like in a couple of, I feel like maybe in a couple of years, people are gonna really like start to realize, like, hopefully, and it's just I'm just wanting this to happen, right? Um, just like the record shops right now, you know what I'm saying? Like, um, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So like right now, record sales are crazy, it's like it's a billion-dollar business now. People are going to record shops buying physical records again from music and vinyls, yes, vinyls isn't it. That's what's really popping right now. Yes. But I hope that, you know, because you only need, honestly, let's be honest, you only need about 20 to 25% of gamers to be like, fuck this shit. Like, I want physical media. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that's all you need.
SPEAKER_07I have to see a gamer that's like, oh no, physical copies. I'm a digital, not one. Well, not a single one. So I'm like, who, who, what rise up?
SPEAKER_08Well, it's it's rise up, my army. Guys, come on.
SPEAKER_03I feel like it's not so much like, no, forget physical, it's more like digital is easier. And I understand. Yeah, that's exactly what it is.
SPEAKER_08Giving up to having to put the disc in when your PlayStation is all the way on the other. Yeah, come on, man.
SPEAKER_03Stop being so fucking lazy and get the fucking thing. I've had digital media for a very long time. And especially, like I said, especially when it was like I put in the game disc and I want it to work, and it's like, huh, nice. Now connect to the internet and download the 50 gigabyte launch update to make the game work. And I'm like, well, why did I just drive to GameStop and do that then? So this disc is really just like uh the cover charge. I'm like, I kind of hate that. But and I so I do agree, I do agree that I here's what I'm gonna say. I like the ease of use with digital, and I like how it can all be in one place without having to go get a disc. That being said, I I hate it because it's also the legalities to it is like you don't own this. There needs to be almost like a giant uh server like ran by the people that's like, I bought this, I own it, it's mine digitally. I can almost like it because NFT sucked, but almost like how an NFT were like would work with like ownership is like this is my game. I bought this game, I can trade this game, I can do whatever I want with this game. You can't take this game away from me. But what these big companies are trying to be like buy the game only from us, which means you never truly Bought it, fuck you. And I like I hate that. But now it does make me want to revolt. You just the only true physical media, in my opinion, the last of it, was uh like Xbox 360 PS3. That was the real shit. Xbox gonna say you could throw it in and it worked. That's real physical. Yeah, in the wheels. And the wheel! That's the real physical media I want. I don't want this why I didn't buy much physical media on the generation after, because it was all fake physical media.
SPEAKER_05But even with that, we still, like to your point, TJ. Sony fiscal year last year, I was watching uh this YouTuber and he pulled up this information. 22% of games sold by Sony was physical media. Not a lot, right? Well, not a lot compared to how much digital is being sold. Right. But that's 70 million copies.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's they were they were obviously making money, but like Mario said, it's easier to make digital, that's why they're pushing that. But my thing is, if you're gonna go fully digital, you gotta give consumers some type of value to make us want to do that. Like, cause I got digital and physical, right? Most of the time when I get digital, it's because something's on sale on the PlayStation store. It's cheap, it's easy. I'm like, okay, cool, let me go ahead and grab this. I'll grab that for five to fifteen, whatever, how many dollars. But physical, I I still go get physical copies of games I really like. So I can have it in my physical collection, even though, like Mario said, it's just a it's just a dish you put in and it's like a code, it just downloads. But at least I got it because that had that has value. Because even though if I give it to somebody, it gives them that license to download the game.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05With where as far as digital, I got the license to download the game, but I can't. I mean, you can kind of share it, but PlayStation's uh PlayStation sharing is ass.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Uh I think Xbox sharing is a little easier.
SPEAKER_03Slightly better. I think they s got a little stricter over the last decade. But because I remember my shit was like, I had the entire library of my friend and that low key went away. So like, but it used to work.
SPEAKER_05With Sony, it's like you can I can play a certain game, but we can't play it at the same time. Yeah. It's like I give him permission to play to be on my profile on his console or her console. But yeah, if if I'm on that profile, we both profiles can't play a certain game at the same time. So it's a little weird. And you can only share with one user at a time.
SPEAKER_07That actually is something I was gonna say is I feel like that does lean more of like a benefit to digital. Is like I've got two PlayStations. I got one downstairs and I got one upstairs. I can go and play a game upstairs and then go downstairs to watch whatever, and then I'm like, oh shoot, I it sounds stupid, but I'm like, oh shoot, I actually want to keep playing that game. And now I'm downstairs and I can keep playing the game seamlessly. I don't have to run up and get the disc or whatever. And like the saves are automatic and stuff like that. But I mean there's definitely some.
SPEAKER_05There's pros and cons to both.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, but I feel like you taking away something that I literally paid for and bought from you is the biggest con.
SPEAKER_03You know, I think that's why I think we all want, I mean, if you like like physically touching media, I think that's super cool too. I actually do like that sensation. However, I think a lot of people want digital only because it's easier, because you can a lot of people want ease of use. However, it's uh it's like a Pandora's box because it's like I want to own the digital stuff, I don't want to rent the digital stuff. A lot of people want the digital, like I want to I almost want to walk around and be like, that person owns all of this and I can't take it away. Like I want that, but it's not that it's they sign this agreement, I can rip it away whatever I want.
SPEAKER_02I think the issue that, you know, we're not saying that digital media is bad. Like we're saying if we do buy digital media, because I want the listeners to understand if we buy digital media, we want to be able to keep it. We want that you be able to keep it as long as we want to fucking keep it, right? And you know, when you have the corporations say, well, no, you know, because that has to do, then build fucking servers then. You're trying to build more data centers, uh data centers anyway, build servers then. You know what I'm saying? Within, you know, and but then that you know trickles into a lot more problems. But at the same time, it's like you they can do it. That's what I'm getting to. Yeah, they can't. PlayStation zoning it doesn't give them yeah. Yeah, they can do it. You know, give give the consumers something that keeps them coming back. Because right now you're talking about, oh, well, you know, we control all of it and we could just take it away when we want to take it away. It's like, bro, that's not like come on. Think about your consumers, think about what they like, think about what they like to do.
SPEAKER_03It's kind of like a race to the bottom. Yeah, it's kind of a weird race to the bottom right now, but yeah, I mean it's all about what consumers will pay for, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, if they keep paying, if we keep paying, then yeah, and I don't want to say it like it's all consumers' fault because we like the paying customer evolves over time, just like in corporations. But yeah, you know, we gotta have more people who care about ownership. You know what I mean? I think a lot of people just pay for convenience, but they don't actually understand, like, when I pay for this convenience, it's I'm I'm not actually paying for what I think I am. I'm paying for a short-term investment. Yeah, short-term rental.
SPEAKER_03Short-term, yeah, a short-term investment. Yeah. I'll tell you whatever new console just for the principal, I think, at this point, whatever new console has a disk drive, I'll buy that one instead. Yeah. Just for the start to start it off. And also, I mean, I don't know. I don't think either of them will, to be honest, but it was funny. Someone said, bro, Sega has the opportunity to do the craziest thing ever. If they could just release a new console with a disk drive. It won't happen. But no. It would be super cool. Yeah. Um, but yeah, no, GTA is Choppy's console. But anyway.
SPEAKER_0739 million. 39 million, yeah. I mean, like, what are you gonna do? Not buy GTA 6? Like, they know hello. And they do know, and I think that's a good thing. They're being scheming. Yeah, they're like, uh, we're gonna this whole that GTA 6 was done years ago, in my theory, is and they just pushed it back just to get people's tongues wet and wanting it. Well, and then they were like, oh, digital.
SPEAKER_00Oh, but it's digital.
SPEAKER_03Well, they also had so many. So many people get struck, like, there were so many strikes, and people like tried to unionize and got fired, and like Rockstar had so much internal problems. Like, oh yeah, it's it was a lot of people.
SPEAKER_02That was that was it was a lot more.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Rockstar was messing up. Rockstar Rockstar of them. I don't yeah, I don't recommend working for Rockstar.
SPEAKER_05One of the rumors was they was trying to wait till the PS6 so they could come out with the, you know, like the last GA5 tangle. The double dipping, you're already gonna do that shit.
SPEAKER_07They always do that. I listen, I love my PS5, I won't switch in anytime soon.
SPEAKER_05You know they're gonna have a PS6 version as soon as PS6 and the Xbox come out.
SPEAKER_03It's that, and I know GTA 5 is is like one of those game disc licensed, but like, bro, it's it would be it's at least cool. Like, here's all my GTA 6 discs. That's cool, bro. Like back in the day, they used to be like back in the day, developers didn't care if it couldn't fit on one disc. They bro, they'd be like insert disc too, and they had cool little menu screens and they had cool little music. Yeah, but it it also could have been like that's all they had. Yeah, but like, but people were okay with it. You know what I mean? Like it were like if the game like Final Fantasy VII, you know what I mean? Yeah, it probably was all they could fit on a disc, so they had to keep going. But like, same thing here, and I know they didn't have digital, but it's like, bro, if people want physical discs, games are so expensive. Like, I don't know. I don't know. It's just like there's a lot of cool things that you could do, but it's just it's about money at the end of the day, and it's not it's not getting better for the consumer. Also, things are getting more expensive. Like, it's not like the economy's booming, and I'm like, oh, here's a hundred bucks on a digital copy. I love that. Thank you. I love consuming.
SPEAKER_07It's like rent or GTA 6.
SPEAKER_03Like, literally, bro. It's like, wow.
SPEAKER_07And I mean, I have to pick GTA 6. I mean, what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_03All right, we got GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, which is basically the regular edition. Um, it's gonna be one week, uh week and a half of groceries.
SPEAKER_07Uh the ultimate edition. Here's a code to the normal one, but you can go into the Gucci store.
SPEAKER_03You can go to the Gucci store. Uh, don't worry, those common pores cannot enter your Gucci store. Yeah, you're good.
unknownYou're good.
SPEAKER_03Don't worry. They only paid for the expensive version.
SPEAKER_07Fake Gucci clothing.
SPEAKER_03You paid for the stupid expenses. Yeah, look at you, buddy. Thank you. By the way, we don't have enough money. We only had 13 years of microtransactions on shark cards.
SPEAKER_07Dude, there's gonna be a a a what what's what's it called? When there's like a hierarchy of people.
SPEAKER_03Oh, like there's a class war in the case.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, there's gonna be a class war cases where people are gonna be like, we're like players are gonna be standing outside the Gucci store as these other players are going in. They're like, please, please, if you can just get me the bare.
SPEAKER_02You have the wealthy and then you just have the poor. That's it. Yeah, the wealthy and the poor.
SPEAKER_05Uh you know, online is not gonna be coming out with the game. It's gonna take some time for them to. I was like, what if they merge it with GTA 5 online? You fly up here and get to Los Santa.
SPEAKER_03No way. Jesus Christ. Oh, you don't have to do a full remake. They're not gonna do that for you.
SPEAKER_05Like how they did uh like how Call of Duty did Warzone, Mario. They just went like how Call of Duty did Warzone.
SPEAKER_03Oh, well, oh right. Oh god, stop. Stop, stop, dude. Uh yeah, dude. You know what I think? This would never happen. But you know what I think physical, physical games should be? This will never happen. Kid you not, you know how consoles have like the little extenders for for uh for storage, like the little SSG extender sticks? Yeah. Put the whole fucking game on that thing and ship it out with one of those. If your game is 250 gigs, give me a 250 and 70 gig.
SPEAKER_08Have GTA 6 built into your built into the the SSD and let me shove it in there.
SPEAKER_03That's awesome. And it's like, oh, well, I'm sorry, you're gonna have to use compression algorithms to figure out how to keep it on there because like, bro, like just ship it with that. Not a code. I don't want a code. I think games aren't discs anymore. They're just like Yeah, they're like it's like the whole SSD.
SPEAKER_07It's easier to store because they're not as big, but like Yeah, well, they still come into game case if you want.
SPEAKER_03But like it's almost like a cartridge but new age. Yeah, it would just cost a fucking ton of money.
SPEAKER_07I think that's like well, it would cost a few.
SPEAKER_03But I don't, but it seems it's amazing for us, right?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that's true. We're already paying shut up, PlayStation. Shut up, Sony.
SPEAKER_05It's really crazy. I would have never thought that when the Switch 2 released, that I would be saying Nintendo is probably sitting pretty at the top right now, as far as with the consumer.
SPEAKER_03Do they still have SD cards?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, digital code SD cards. Yeah, I've I've been tempted to get a Switch 2 too. 22.
SPEAKER_05But they win it right now, bro. Nintendo is fucking. You I would never thought it's your day when Nintendo is the good guy here.
SPEAKER_03And they're also hold on now, just give them some time. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00$90 bands.
SPEAKER_03Mario Kart World Thorn. That's gonna be $80.
SPEAKER_02Yo, these fucking these fucking consoles, these fucking companies are gonna invite us. They're gonna be like, hey, yeah, imposta, you all wanna come and uh speak to the board, like, oh yeah, they got a bunch of bats and like what are those called?
SPEAKER_08Like baseball!
SPEAKER_02Oh, baseball bats.
SPEAKER_08Baseball bats with a spikes.
SPEAKER_02It's like they need to hear the truth. You need they need to hear the truth.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they don't know all this is is like we'll come with our own bats. The real the real depressing thing now is like, hey guys, the common man can no longer afford their little pleasantries of escapism after a long, hard day of not being paid enough to live.
SPEAKER_00Holy.
SPEAKER_03Like, I'm gonna start buying what? Books?
SPEAKER_02Books are good, everyone. Listen to the private books are good. Don't be bullied. Please keep going to your Barnes and Nobles and your local bookstores, everybody. We need that. Go to your local bookstores.
SPEAKER_07As soon as I find nobles, I will go there.
SPEAKER_02Go to your local bookstore before we go. I mean, listen, Barnes and Nobles is, you know, if you got it, you got it. But if you don't, just go like try to find a local bookstore.
SPEAKER_03Support local art, support physical media. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because when the when the when the whole when the whole system is inevitably shut down because AI and Skynet have taken over, all we will have are physical medias in our in our camps run by generators that we have outside of the abandoned malls.
SPEAKER_02On land that they infiltrated. But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Speaking of consoles, we got a new one just released.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. Oh yeah. The Steam Machine. Wow. Woo!
SPEAKER_05It's $1,000 without a controller. $1,000?
SPEAKER_03No controller. Oh, wait. Tell them the storage, Vic. Isn't it a lot of storage? Tell them the storage for the $1,000 one. Oh yeah, it was like five, 12 gigabytes. $512 gigabytes. Now I will say this. That's the TS4. I'm gonna say this. I I, you know, Steam does a lot of crazy stuff, but this was just the most unfortunate timing ever because of the AI bubble, and they got screwed. I think this thing was originally going to be priced at like 600 bucks, 700, maybe even 500, but like around the hundreds, the high hundreds. But unfortunately. Yeah, well, because it's less powerful, I think, than a PS5 base. A base PS5.
SPEAKER_07And it's not a it's like a built pre-built PC.
SPEAKER_03It's a pre-built PC, like it's a Steam machine. It runs Steam and stuff. So like it's it's a good, it was supposed to be a good starter console, but they got this thing's absolutely gonna fli I mean it'll probably sell, but like they're probably not gonna make many. Because it's like, okay, wait a minute. I'm paying you a grand for a PS5.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03I know it can play Steam games, but and like Steam is the best out of all these conglomerates in terms of consumer friendly. I get it, but this was terrible timing. Thus, I mean the first Steam Machine I don't think did great. So this is uh the Steam Deck did great, but this is just like, oh my god, guys, like who's gonna buy this thing besides like Purist, you know?
SPEAKER_05And isn't it true? Like, I'm not a PC guy, but I got some friends that they that's all they do, right? No consoles, they fucking hate consoles.
SPEAKER_07I got friends like that.
SPEAKER_05Wouldn't it be it's smarter to wouldn't it be smarter to invest in a pre-built actual PC? I mean, I know that's what the Steam Machine is supposed to be, but wouldn't it be better just to do that? It's it's gonna play, it's gonna run a lot smoother, play better, and you know, it's not a fucking console. Like, no, yeah. It's probably better to hunt down your own. I mean, although buying you'll spend a little more than a thousand, it's probably gonna be like around 1500, but yeah, but it's gonna last a lot longer.
SPEAKER_03The RAM is now so insane nowadays, I don't even know anymore what the PC is.
SPEAKER_02Literally a Reddit post that well, the steam machine was pretty cool for like 20 minutes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, right. I mean, for the price you're getting, it's like you could probably do a little bit better in today's day and age.
SPEAKER_05And they said they has it's having issues with the red line of death. Have y'all heard about that?
SPEAKER_03Why is everything red and death in this consoles? Right. God, the cons.
SPEAKER_05Like the 360, the ring of death? Oh yeah. They brought the ring of death back.
SPEAKER_03I'll turn on a console from 27 years ago, and that shit boots up like a champ, bro.
SPEAKER_07A little gasoline in it. A little gasoline.
SPEAKER_03I take my N64 cartridge, do a little put it in there.
SPEAKER_02Funny story, that happened, man. That happened to us. We got one of those, we got a we got an Xbox uh 360, and that shit happened to us. We took it back, they replaced it, all whatever. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03The original batch sucked, but everything after that was good.
SPEAKER_07I think it's a good one. If you moved it while the disc was spinning, an original Xbox 360, no red alignment, no red death, and I still be playing on that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, my old one, it was the model after the red ring one. It's so solid. I mean, the disc drive broke, but everything else.
SPEAKER_00The one where it's like tapped like a bing.
SPEAKER_01I love how Mario.
SPEAKER_03I have the like the white one. But it was from 08, and it's called it's a Falcon model, which just means it's the one that came after the launch model is the one that always blew up.
SPEAKER_00Ah yeah.
SPEAKER_03The second model, which looked the same as the first, just had something better inside of it that keeps it lasting. I mean, it's been 20 years almost I've had that one. It still turns on it works, but the disk driver's just jammed. Yeah. But I do have the S, which does the bing.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. I do have that one too. I think I got one of those, but we still have the the like dark gray model of the.
SPEAKER_03Oh, the Elite?
SPEAKER_08The Elite.
SPEAKER_03The Elite. That one is still pushed. The Elite's great. What did it come with pure and Lego Batman?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_07No, it came with uh uh one side of the disc was uh Lego Batman, and the other side was um What did I just say?
SPEAKER_03Oh tell me the ATV game right now, motherfucker. Tell me the ATV game right now. You know I know balls. How dare you?
SPEAKER_08You might be right.
SPEAKER_03How dare you?
SPEAKER_07But it also came with What did it come with?
SPEAKER_03Oh no, it's a right up. I'm too deep in the sauce, bro. I'm about to fucking.
SPEAKER_07Okay, I'm I think I'm also thinking about the double disc I had.
SPEAKER_03He talking about he talking about that two pack right here.
SPEAKER_01He talking about the leaf thing right there. I know that shit.
SPEAKER_08I'm not gonna lie to you, as a kid, did not even I didn't even look at that top game. I was only looking at Lego Batman.
SPEAKER_01I know bundles, bro.
SPEAKER_07I had that, and then I had the Kung Fu Panda on Twitter.
SPEAKER_06And then Lego Indian Lego Indian channel.
SPEAKER_03I got that for Christmas. Bro, those are two fire. And I got Mirror's Edge that same fucking Christmas, bro.
SPEAKER_06Dude, yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's wow, they dropped duo games like that. I remember PlayStation used to have fucking demos. Like a edge. That's the first time I played Jack and Dexter because the Jack and Dexter demo was on there, and I fell in love with that shit that's gonna be. Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_02Um remember when you go to like Walmart or Target, um, and you could like literally just play the games there. Like they had all of these consoles ready, and you could just fucking play them there. That's the first time.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna go shopping. I'm like section. You know where I'm gonna be at the fucking game section.
SPEAKER_02I'm breaking my neck.
SPEAKER_07I know Target has that, but they never work, they're always broken.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Walmart shit was always popping. Walmart was always popping.
SPEAKER_05I don't like Target anymore because they always got uh phone people there trying to get you like hey, service.
SPEAKER_02I have whatever they have.
SPEAKER_03I ain't been to Target for almost a year and a half. They were like, What's your phone service? I said ATT, and they're like, Oh, what's your internet service? I said ATT, and they're like, Oh, okay. I was like, Can you get my bill cheaper? And they're like, Oh, no, man, that's not my department.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, really?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02But you're trying to sell me something though. Oh, okay, I got you. I know what department you're in. You're trying to get that commission.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're trying to get that commission, and then I'll never find you again.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, for real.
SPEAKER_03Mario.
SPEAKER_02Mario, Mario is right because as soon as you go back, like in one week, he's like, oh, that dude doesn't work here anymore. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03I'd be like, man, why did my bill go up a hundred dollars and they didn't do anything?
SPEAKER_05Told me I had a lifetime 50% discount.
SPEAKER_03Because his car note was a lot on that white Mercedes. Yep.
SPEAKER_02Well, let's um what's the what's this? Marvel token. Okay. Who who got that? This is kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_03I didn't really understand this one. Oh, yeah. New game, new fighting game.
SPEAKER_02What are you talking about? The fighting souls banned in 100 years. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Why like I I know the game. The game looks awesome. I'm not gonna lie. The game looks pretty good.
SPEAKER_02But it was banned in 129 countries.
SPEAKER_03Same thing with the Helldies PlayStation thing, right?
SPEAKER_05132 countries technically got it where it's not able to be played as of now. It could change, but it's because of the PlayStation Network accounts. They can't be created in those countries. Oh shit. So you gotta have a PSN account to play.
SPEAKER_02Like, Sony, what the fuck? Like, what are we doing right now?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know, man. It's oh well, I mean, it to be expected, bro. They fired half of the Destiny staff and then cut the game off. And and then they expected what, Marathon to be the cash cow? What are you doing? What are you doing? What's going on?
SPEAKER_07I was stunned. I was hyped for Marathon, and then I saw that I was like, wait, this isn't a free game.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it costs 40 bucks.
SPEAKER_07I was like, wait, hold on. Like I'm gonna play to play Apex Legends? Like, what's going on?
SPEAKER_03Apparently it's pretty good, which is sad because it's like you're clearly going off a freemium model, just charging me at the door.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I I I like Actually it's twenty bucks, you know, Phil.
SPEAKER_05It's 20 bucks now.
SPEAKER_07What?
SPEAKER_05Well, no, I was saying like that's what they said at the club line when you're trying to get in. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You're not on the list.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah. She charge her friends for the drink. Come in. Yeah, yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_02Especially it would be 30 for you and your homeboy. Well, I guess. I mean, if it's banned in 132 countries, there's nothing to yamp.
SPEAKER_05It could get uh it could get reversed. They kind of they did that with Helldivers too. They reversed.
SPEAKER_03You know what would be good? I guess they don't know. You know what would be nice if if it would be nice if consumers didn't have to fight for things that seem like uh common rights.
SPEAKER_07I wish that people in these corp like corporate offices sat back and realized, oh, I am also a consumer.
SPEAKER_03No, they don't. They don't play games, they just see they're too busy looking at them. I mean, like for like other stuff. Yeah, they're like, oh, wait, I get $80 billion if I just make this company grow by a billion. Yeah, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah. And they're like, hey, you don't own shit, and you're gonna be fucking happy about it. That's my child. Now buy our PS6 for a thousand bucks.
SPEAKER_03Because you know it's like, hey, I know these players have been playing PlayStation since they were 10 years old, but I don't give a shit about all that. And I'm only see I'm CEO at every company every three years. So we're just gonna give me a bunch of money. And then I'm gonna move around. I don't know what they're doing.
SPEAKER_02But I don't do a good job at this company, I just move around to another one. Perfect. That's how that's how the world of CEOs work. Sounds good to me.
SPEAKER_03Hey, make that game digital only.
SPEAKER_05Um brokies that can't pay $80 for a game. Too bad. Oh my god, they keep paying $80 for a game. Oh my god. Turn on a lot of brokeys that can't afford an $80, $90 game. You poor bitches. Get out of my presence.
SPEAKER_03It's like, wait, wait, oh my god, they're poor and they're still paying for it. Keep selling it.
SPEAKER_05Oh, wait, you can't go to Walmart and do games on Leeaway no more. No, you can't.
SPEAKER_02Oh shit, are you serious? I didn't know that was a thing, bro. I remember when Leeaway was like, everybody did that shit. Oh me. New TV? New TV, put it on layaway.
SPEAKER_04Oh, God.
SPEAKER_02This is 2026, TJ. I'm sorry. We're too far back. We're too far back. It's a subscription or you fucking Yeah. Oh God. I'm sorry, Samos. You don't know anything about Leeaway. That's before your time.
SPEAKER_07I'm nodding.
SPEAKER_02So you don't want to know, man. I'll send you some info after the after the pod.
SPEAKER_05Wait, you got Klarna? You got Klarna?
SPEAKER_02Klarna? That's layaway. That's layaway, mother.
SPEAKER_06That's layaway. No, man. That is literally Klarna.
SPEAKER_02What is it? A firm that is layaway. Literally in digital form. That is layaway in digital form. It's lay away, but we let you take it. We let you take it.
SPEAKER_05Because we know we know that even if you don't pay it, we still get paid.
SPEAKER_02We still get paid.
SPEAKER_05Screw me away, buddy.
SPEAKER_07People might need to learn to be like, I don't have the money, so I can't have it.
SPEAKER_02Don't worry about it. That's never gonna fucking happen. It's never gonna fucking happen, bro, until we, you know. Yeah. Yeah. That's a bigger issue. Yeah. Well, we're not gonna get a little bit of a little bit of a little bit listen. Yeah, imposta's not gonna be able to solve our help that issue. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Lord for me.
SPEAKER_05What you mean? You want me to save up and buy a PS5 in an Xbox?
SPEAKER_00Fuck that.
SPEAKER_05I'm about to just get this.
SPEAKER_00I want PS5s.
SPEAKER_03Bro, I've been I've been priced out of the market. I didn't know when I was buying a console, it would be a it would be a an appreciating asset. I feel like I bought a home in in 2019. Oh, hey, those were good times, bro. You can buy now my consoles cost $800. I'm like, wow, I really invested. Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_02All right. Well, if that's all for um the video games and you know, news and anything like that, do you have anything to add for that uh section of the pod?
SPEAKER_03Um no, I mean I think that's it. We're just raging about physical media as as we will. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um we will continue to rage about media.
SPEAKER_03Um I highly recommend whatever console does have disk drive capabilities, go for that one. Um and also support your local um bookstores. Sec yeah, bookstores and secondhand entertainment stores. Yeah, support the ones that you know um can can provide you with with classic, well-priced games that are that you I know some people are young out there, and I just want to say that some games you can buy, and when you put it in that console, it works. And that's it. And it doesn't matter if you have Wi-Fi, you can still play it.
SPEAKER_07I I remember the first time I ever experienced digital games. I went over to my friend's, my buddy's house, he had an Xbox One, and he booted it up, and I saw that he had all these games on it. I was like, yo, you like bought all these games here? And I'll and he was like, Yeah, bro. And I remember going over to click on I think it was Fallout 4. I clicked on it, and then it was like insert disc. I was like, hold on. What? So it's there, but I have to stand up because I was at the time I was used to the Xbox 360. There's nothing. You booted it up, there's nothing. You put the game in, there it is. There it was. It wasn't this false hope of like, oh, there's the game. I clicked on it, oh, I still have to put it in. I don't know. I don't know. I'm very confused by this notion, but uh you had to be there, you had to be there.
SPEAKER_05Hey, all my people, man. Y'all need to go stock up on retro on your own. Stock up on retro, is it? No, keep that keep that shit alive, man. It's gonna go up. I feel like that's gonna go up, shoot out the roof in the future.
SPEAKER_03And I just want to say, you know, there there's something that uh there's a saying in the gaming industry right now that if buying isn't owning, uh look up the rest.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yes, look up the rest. All right, guys. I second that. Let's go. Let's get into the section that uh I think we got some really good stuff in here.
SPEAKER_03The movers almost shines. Helicula.
SPEAKER_02Well, he's gonna have to dim his light. I'm gonna have to dim, whoa, whoa. I don't want to dim anyone's light.
SPEAKER_03I just want to be concise. It's gonna be a short light, it's gonna be like a flashlight.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be a flashlight. Yeah. Well, first up, we got um, has anybody seen Toy Story 5?
SPEAKER_08Not uh I did.
SPEAKER_02Yes, me and Samos did. Yeah, boy! What'd you think? Not to not together, but we we saw the movie. We saw together in heart. Yeah, we there you go, Solomon.
SPEAKER_07You were there with me, I'm sure. Well, what what'd you think, TJ? I'm curious.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I thought it was better than Toy Story 4. Bam. I really did. Yeah, I thought it was better than Toy Story 4. I think it had such a for me it was inspiration. It also gave me like um, I don't want to give too much of the movie away. Are y'all gonna go see it, Mario?
SPEAKER_03I'll see it eventually.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'll see it.
SPEAKER_07I mean, this is a movie podcast, let's talk about it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I want to hear y'all's opinions because I guess I heard some things that I want to ask y'all.
SPEAKER_02I think them bringing in technology um into the Toy Story 5 and like kind of like being modern, right? You know, um with little kids these days. Because if you think about it, bro, if you see little kids anywhere and everywhere, they have either an iPhone, an iPad, like a tablet or something. You know what I'm saying? And they're playing on those devices. Oh man. And it's like, well, fuck, where are the toys at? And that's what it gave. Like, Toy Story 5 was such like, you know, at first you're like, damn, the toys are gone, bro. The toys are not gonna be playing with toys. Like everyone in that neighborhood, like this little girl was trying to make friends, and she was just like, she reminds me so much, kind of like when I was like just kind of weird, but also like wanting to hate like make friends, but not like just being herself, right? And I feel like she didn't get that at the beginning of the movie, but then towards the end, it was just like I need to be myself, and I found somebody else, you know, yeah, that is just alike, and we have fun, and you know, we don't need to be on our tablets all the time. Like we can have fun in real life. So I don't know, man. I just I I loved it. I I gave it I gave it an eight out of ten, man.
SPEAKER_07I think I also did, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So you say better than four, worse than three slightly, or better than three?
SPEAKER_02Um, I I liked three. I three was seven, seven out of ten. Um, yeah, so I say toy story five was better than three and four.
SPEAKER_07Uh what do you think?
SPEAKER_02What do you think, Sal?
SPEAKER_07I remember one and two a lot. I I actually want to hear Vic's questions real quick.
SPEAKER_05Oh, go ahead, Vic. Yeah, I think it's a little crazy that we had to get a Toy Story 5 for motherfucking parents to be like, I think my kid is using the tablet and the phone too much. Maybe I should take it away. Like, what the are we talking about?
SPEAKER_02But anyway, so honestly, I mean No, no, I'm just saying, honestly, in my showing, it was a whole bunch of millennials. I'm not even gonna lie. Like, it was a little bit of like you some kids there, but for the most part, bro, I saw a lot of my people, like a lot of people that were my age there, like by themselves or Well, it's for us. It's not for kids.
SPEAKER_05It is, yeah, it's not for five, six year olds.
SPEAKER_02It's for people born in the 80s, 90s, didn't they? I get that, but at the same time, their little kids were like, who is that? Yeah, because it's one little girl's like, is that Woody? Little girl, shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_00Uncle Woody. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But what was your what was your question a bit? Well, I've heard some things. What I heard was they did the characters a funny way. It's like the main characters, Woody and Buzz. Yeah. Where they kind of shitted on them the whole movie. Yeah. That's what I kind of heard. Is that kind of true?
SPEAKER_02Or y'all think that's a little over exaggerated? No, it's not over-exaggerated. I don't think they got go ahead, Samos.
SPEAKER_07No, no, I was just gonna say, I was like, actually, I didn't feel that at all. But I I'm curious to see what you say, TJ, because I I I feel like I didn't feel that. What I did feel though, that I feel like kind of goes into that is one of the issues this movie's had, it it suffers from what I call stranger things uh uh syndrome. Thank you. Too many characters now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_07There are so many toys, and like half of them, not even half of them, two-thirds of them have say nothing and do nothing. And it's like I get it, because what are you gonna kill off toys? They're toys. Yeah you're not gonna get rid of any of them, but now it's like and they could, they could though.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, well they some could have they could have got rid of Mr. Potato Head and you know No, not Mr.
SPEAKER_02Potato Head. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_05I'm just using that as an example. Like we could have had parts where people got sold, or maybe it could have been Facebook Marketplace for toys, right? Facebook marketplace Facebook.
SPEAKER_03Toy Story Six, Facebook Marketplace meetup.
SPEAKER_07But it's if they've kind of written themselves into a like a corner, because now it's like, uh, what's gonna happen? You don't get rid of these toys. There's so many characters. How are you gonna even add them all into a story? I felt like that was kind of that was a little jarring, but to be fair, I felt like the movie handled it pretty well. I feel like it separated the toys into different groups, had their storylines, and I was like, it's it's it's working. It's it's nice, it's good.
SPEAKER_05Let me explain. So Woody, they kind of set him up not in this movie to look bad. I th a lot of people felt like he was set up bad in the let in the previous movie. Yeah. Because his core, ever since we first met him as in Toy Story, his core character plot was doing whatever was needed for the kid.
SPEAKER_07For Andy.
SPEAKER_05For Andy for the new kid, too. Uh what's her name? Bonnie. So like he always was like, all right, we gotta do whatever the kid needs. I'm here for the kid. Um he's basically obsessed over the kid, right? To play with. So in Toy Story 4, he went from that to I'm gonna run away and help other toys. Like, that was, I mean, I get it. He's got character development, but it's like his whole thing was not that, like sticking with the kid. And now it's kind of like they brought him back, and he's not the leader. He's like the gag of some jokes. I haven't seen it, so I can't really say. I'm just telling you what I heard. The gag of jokes, and then Buzz, they kind of um, he was like the alpha kick-ass cool guy, and now he's like the uh, yes, sir, Jesse, and like following her around is kind of like because I know Jesse's the main character now, so they had to be beef her up a little bit.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, which I didn't mind. I actually, man, I cried. I ain't gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Man, I cried. I will say, and uh I did have a little emotional moment in Toy Story 5. I was like, damn, because thinking about watching the first one, right, with Andy, and then like all of his shenanigans, and then Sid, right? You know, like that was the F like that listen, that was fucking, that was, that was the days, you know, Toy Story. But then like when Andy donated his toys in Toy Story 3 to Bonnie, and now we're here in Toy Story 5, and Bonnie is, you know, she's realizing that I can have both. Like I can I can have the tablet and I can have my toys, but I also need real friends, right? I don't know, man. I just for me it was very um it was very heartfelt. So that's why I gave it an 8 out of 10 because it's supposed to have some type of a plot where the kid, you know, realizes something, but also the toys realize what they're doing as well. Like why are they here, you know? But I will say I didn't like some of how they portrayed Buzz in Toy Story 5. I feel like they kind of like, I don't know, like not damn just character, but kind of like, I don't know. But there is a scene, somos, where Buzz and all the other Buzzes. Oh yeah, that was funny when they were on the highway and they were flying, they were like, we're never gonna be able to get them. Bro, Buzz Buzz with the Wi-Fi already active in it. I was like, yeah, bro. Like you just it once once it comes out on digital, um, Vic Mario, you gotta watch it, bro. It's such like it's it's some really good, funny moments in the movie.
SPEAKER_07So I I will say, and this will be the last thing, so then we can move on. The reason it's not a 10, and the reason it's not a nine, right, is because I feel like they did kind of miss the mark on uh the real issue of technology and kids. I feel like the movie was very like Bonnie, you need to be more careful online and you need to be more careful on your iPad, and you need to be careful with digit with digital stuff, and I feel like the movie was very uh directed at the kids to be like you should go play outside more. Bonnie is like nine years old. It is not her fault, it is the parents, and I feel like Toy Story missed that of like communicating to the parents this is what your child looks like, and this is what your child is doing online. Yeah, she is nine years old. Yeah, there is no way that she can comprehend the complexities of I am not talking to a real person, right? I am talking to a tablet, so I can say whatever I want to my friend, or I can bully this person because they're not there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_07They they don't have that emotional intelligence yet. You as the parent have to protect your child, I feel. Yeah, I think I agree.
SPEAKER_03Well, they also don't really creatively never really let the parents get involved in the Toy Story movies. It's always kind of like, uh, the parents are around.
SPEAKER_07But wouldn't that have been interesting?
SPEAKER_03That would have been interesting. That would have been a first for two. Here you come up with it.
SPEAKER_05It definitely makes sense because they already made the the humans more important because Andy was only had like two or three scenes in the first two movie parts of the movie.
SPEAKER_07There were so many scenes with Bonnie and Bonnie's friends.
SPEAKER_05So they're making it more like human, you know, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07It's like, come on, let's get to the root.
SPEAKER_03Okay, yeah, lock up.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's in Toy Story Six.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02When they go to Toronto, let me there you go. Let me tell you something. I want this to be, honestly, I'm not even gonna lie, I'm and we're gonna move on. I think Toy Story Six needs to be just like that, it needs to be a done deal. Because at this point, we're getting to the Fast and Furious shit. Like, I I need Toy Story.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I need them to wrap this shit up. I need them to bring Andy back. I need them, I need them to bring Andy back. I need them to bring everybody back in the universe and just be like, hey, we're gonna wrap this shit up.
SPEAKER_05I got a hot take. I think if they would have, if they were gonna do it a series like this, that they should have kept it with Andy. Like as he was growing up. Are you raising your hand, Mario? That would have been.
SPEAKER_03Whenever you're ready, I have a question.
SPEAKER_07No, you keep going back.
SPEAKER_03Uh no, it's not.
SPEAKER_07I thought he was doing that pose where it's like open the eye over the head.
SPEAKER_03No, that'd be, I mean, I guess whatever Vic's saying. No, I want to let you finish your thought and then I'll because I also forgot. So you keep going. No, that was that was it. You said I remember it again. Would you say though, because like, I mean, you can say Toy Story 3. I thought Toy Story 4 was like really, really the end.
SPEAKER_01No, really the end, though.
SPEAKER_03Was this movie, did it have an uh another end? Like, if it with no more Toy Stories, would this be a good end? Would this be a good end? No, that's what I was gonna say.
SPEAKER_07No, no, I thought it they set it up for there to be more.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and honestly, I thought with the whole Jesse scene with her finding like, because you know, Jesse wasn't originally Andy's toy, right? Um, and so I feel like Jesse has a big like character development in this in Toy Story 5. It was very good. And I feel like they just I thought they were gonna set it up so it would be like the last movie. But Toy Story, Pixar, listen, let's wrap this shit up. Toy Story Six needs to be in the Toy Story 3 should have been in for real.
SPEAKER_07They said Bonnie's getting a trilogy. Right.
SPEAKER_05Like she, this is the next movie is gonna be the end of her trilogy, and then they're gonna start another trilogy with another.
SPEAKER_02Hey, hey, hey, Vic, don't do them any ideas. Where's the Power Rangers?
SPEAKER_03Bring them in.
SPEAKER_04Where's the Legos at? Where the Legos at.
SPEAKER_03We already got Lego movies. Oh, hell but no, that's a good one.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so Toy Story, you gave what did you do? Somos, what did you give it? An eight out of ten.
SPEAKER_07Eight out of I would I'd say eight.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I gave it an eight out of ten, too. Cool. Let's wrap Toy Story up. Moving on. Um moving on. Supergirl. Tell us your rating on that one. Give him a recap of the little bit.
SPEAKER_07Listen, I posted a video talking about how Supergirl. You posted two X.
SPEAKER_02You posted two X.
SPEAKER_07Bad. I oh I it was so bad I posted two videos. Did you see it twice?
SPEAKER_03You did. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I did see it twice. I I post a video every time I see it.
SPEAKER_03Did your rating go down, right? It went down? Yeah. It went down.
SPEAKER_07Uh I think it did. I can't remember. Actually, no, no. Disclosure day, the rating went down the second time. Supergirl stays out of four. Guys, I got comment after comment being like, okay, you just hate it because it's a girl. Okay, so girl movies are just bad. Oh, well, tell me you didn't read the comics. Oh, well, did you read the comic? It's like uh garbage is garbage. If something smells, it's gonna smell. The comics, I it doesn't matter if it's comic accurate. For me personally, as I am sitting here watching the movie that's playing out in front of me, I am not happy and I am not liking it. There were a lot of things that happened that happened to happen. And I don't think that's what makes good movies.
SPEAKER_02It was just churning along.
SPEAKER_07It was just plotted.
SPEAKER_02Just give just g give it to us. Just like because we're here, here, here, here.
SPEAKER_07Sucky things. Number one.
SPEAKER_02Thank you.
SPEAKER_07Why didn't the villain kill the dog? Why did he shoot a poison dart at the dog and then leave? What? Well, hold on, wait a minute. Right before he goes and slaughters this little girl's family.
SPEAKER_03He's already murdering.
SPEAKER_07He's already Murdered them forget this. The guy goes to this eight to this blacksmith, this space blacksmith, who's the best blacksmith in the world, and he's like, I need you to make weapons for me.
SPEAKER_08And the guy's like, Okay, done. I will make the weapons for you as long as you leave. Then their son sees their younger daughter and like jumps out in a hallway and scares her for some reason because he guess he thought he would be funny or whatever.
SPEAKER_07He's like, God. Then the bad guy turns, sees him, throws an axe at him, and then slaughters the family and leaves.
SPEAKER_03What about the boyfriend?
SPEAKER_02Except for the little girl. Yeah, except for the daughter is the only one that lives.
SPEAKER_07Why did he not kill the daughter? She was right in front of him. I'll tell you why, because the story needed to happen. Also, Supergirl renounced Earth. She was like, I don't like Earth, I don't fit in there, I'm gonna leave. And she goes because it goes to like different planets, and she's like, Oh, she can get drunk on red suns, which is like it's fine, it's whatever.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's in the comics.
SPEAKER_07Like they the red sun, yes, that is No, no, I actually thought that that was pretty cool, and I was like, Oh wow, a s a Superman space adventure sounds awesome because different suns do different things to them.
SPEAKER_09Right.
SPEAKER_07But it was like if you hate Earth so much and like the people of Earth so much, like you were saying, why are you listening to Earth music? Why do you have a Walkman or whatever? Exactly, because James Gunn, and that's what I was like. And also, yeah, I feel like there wasn't, at least for me personally, I feel like there wasn't enough character development between her and her dog for me to feel that her dog is in danger.
SPEAKER_03You know? It felt like Oh, right. I heard crypto was like, oh no, and then that we don't see him again for a while.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it was like, oh no, crypto, and then halfway through the movie I forgot that what the point even was. I forgot that crypto was even sick.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_07Also, the dialogue was very bland, very lame. It was so cliche, and also Lobo, I'm not I'm not a huge Lobo fan. I didn't really know who that was. But uh apparently he's hyped. Apparently, everybody loves Lobo. I don't know why. I could not tell you why. Lobo's a oh, right, because of the movie. Does nothing in the movie. So yeah, okay. He he does actually he does do one thing. Uh he gets locked up in prison, and then this little girl blacksmith girl that does literally nothing but mess up the entire movie, breaks him out, breaks Lobo, the person that earlier in the movie, Supergirl was like, don't mess with him. Supergirl was like, don't mess with him. So you know he's business, and she's like, Oh, he's a demigod with a grudge and he's like super strong and he can't die.
SPEAKER_02That's why she said don't mess with him, he can't die.
SPEAKER_07And it was like what if this guy's supposed to be Aura, I can't wait for it to happen. Also, I can go on and on and on. I'm not gonna lie to you. Girl has a bubble suit. Why does she have a bubble suit if she just wears it and then takes it off?
SPEAKER_03What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I I I don't I I don't even think the director knew what she was talking about.
SPEAKER_03I feel like people direct and write different scenes. It was like I don't know.
SPEAKER_02So here here here's the thing. Here's the thing. I'm gonna I'm gonna summarize I'm gonna sum this shit up real quick.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, some some some it up. Um DCU is cooked. That's all I'm gonna say. Well hold on, I wouldn't say that. Superman was okay, for in my opinion, and Supergirl was Garbage.
SPEAKER_03But what about creature commandos? I actually kind of like Super Commandos.
SPEAKER_07I actually I have not I I've seen a couple episodes of Creature Commandos, and I'm in. I'm in, I like Creature Commandos.
SPEAKER_02Listen, listen, I'm hype for Clayface, but I I am hype for Clayface because it's rated R. Um, but I will say this about Supergirl. I gave it a I was actually really excited to go see this movie. I was excited, you know, because I honestly like when, you know, women are at the forefront of superhero movies, right? Cool, whatever. I got in there, in the first 30 minutes, I'm like, what the fuck is going on? Like, why does this feel like Guardians of the Galaxy? Why does this feel like a Marvel movie? Then I was like, who the fuck directed this? James Gunn did not direct this movie. No. A dude named Craig uh Gelepsey, who directed Fright Night, uh, Tanya, and Cruella. That was his latest movie, who which starred, you know, um, what was her name?
SPEAKER_03Emma Stone.
SPEAKER_02Emma Stone, yes.
SPEAKER_07Talk about a weird movie. So it Cruella, yeah. We're gonna heroize this lady who skins puppy Dalmatians for clothing. Are we forgetting that that's what she did?
SPEAKER_03Didn't they like make her not do that in the remake? Yeah, yeah, they did, yeah. But anyway.
SPEAKER_02To the point, my whole thing was this, and this is what you know, there was a group of people that asked me how I felt about a move about the movie. I said this. James Gunn, if you're going to take over the universe, your first four or five films, you should have fucking directed. I knew something was up when we left Superman, and all of a sudden there were posters for fucking Supergirl. I was like, what the fuck? I was like, what like I should have known that it wasn't directed by James Gunn then. But at the same time, it's like there was no, I'll say this. The character, the the the woman that plays Supergirl, nothing wrong with her. It is literally the plot. It is the character development of Lobo. Because Lobo could have done so much more.
SPEAKER_07So much more. I would argue there's no character development with Supergirl. Like, why does she go back to Earth at the very end?
SPEAKER_02I I just well well, Supergirl, that's where she stays. Like, if you if you are into the comics and you know about the comics, Supergirl finally realizes that home, she has to make, you know, her cousin is.
SPEAKER_07Let's not talk about, let's not bring the comics in here. This is what you have to.
SPEAKER_02We're talking about Supergirl, Samos. Like literally.
SPEAKER_03I even heard it wasn't even that accurate to the comic it's trying to portray it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And I'm like, if you're gonna make a movie, why why make a movie that if I want it to be good, I have to read the comic book.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, I'm saying there's some things. Some things in movies, in these movies, have to be some for they have to get from the comics, I mean, to in order to make the movie somos. I mean, you just can't make a super girl without reading any, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Well, James definitely is a fan, but I I think they knew. I think that here's the very unfortunate part about businesses that own big properties, right? Not to interrupt you guys. Businesses that own big proper it's it's kind of like the uh almost like the Snyderverse effect, which not not to the level that the Snyderverse was, but I think they see the competition and the amount of runtime they've had and we're like, fuck, hurry up. We gotta get to our Avengers, we gotta get to Justice League.
SPEAKER_02Come on, come on, come on. Yes, I felt like this movie was rushed. Um, they didn't take enough time to develop the fucking characters in the movie. Um, and yes, but at the end, I I didn't see anything wrong with her going back to Earth because that's where she needs to be in order to be part of the No, I I didn't I didn't think there's anything wrong with that.
SPEAKER_07I just wish it was we got more often out of it. Superman or realizing like I actually do have a greater purpose and it's back on earth serve. But it wasn't, it was just it wasn't there, it wasn't there. She kills the bad guy, even though the whole point of the movie was her being like, don't kill, it messes you up. She goes and stabs this guy in the neck and then goes back. When in comparison, the entire Superman movie, Superman doesn't kill a single person. In fact, he saves a squirrel.
SPEAKER_02Yes. So it's why again, if you yeah, it's tough, man. I think uh because Supergirl and Superman are different, they're very different. Supergirl will kill your ass. Supergirl will kill you. Superman is more because he was actually raised on Earth. But go ahead. I'm sorry, bit. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I just think it's crazy because even if this movie would have been, let's just say this was a great movie. Like the it turned out great, everybody loved it. I still don't think this would have helped build DCU.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Because she's like James Gunn, I had hopes for him in the beginning.
SPEAKER_02We all did. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I was talking like after I saw his first few things, like Creature Commandos, Penguin, and all this. Well, Penguin wasn't him, but he was he was over DC when Penguin came out. Right. So it's like, okay, we're getting these solid projects.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And he's had a decent track record with Guardians of the Galaxy and shit like that. So I'm like, he's gonna do this shit right. And he's he got a slither of a chance still because I mean they got millions, they got stuff on coming out. But we did count on them out, but nobody's gonna keep him head of DC if they keep if they keep flopping. Like if you're not making money, I'm not gonna have you over my studios. And it's like Supergirl, bro, is just not the greatest choice to pick as your second. Yeah, it's like another Superman.
SPEAKER_07When Avengers, you know, talk, talk Marvel phases one through three, right? Those are the yeah, those are the hard hairs.
SPEAKER_03I'd say one, I'd argue one through four, halfway through halfway, and then they fucked up.
SPEAKER_07I'm trying to remember what's instead of the thing.
SPEAKER_05Four can be stayed at home, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Like Iron Man one, I rewatched that movie, stale fantasy.
SPEAKER_03I watched that movie like Captain America, the first Avenger. Holy moly.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god. These are bangers, and it makes me excited for what's coming next. Supergirl, I was like, okay.
SPEAKER_02They again, I think they rushed this project because as soon as Superman was over, we got a fucking Supergirl. And I was like, damn, they're rushing this shit. I don't know what. Like, it's also, you know, is not and then Man of Tomorrow is next year. Yeah, it's like it's not totally James Grunt's fault.
SPEAKER_05Superman 2 is next year. No, it's it's totally his fault, TJ. This motherfucker announced the authorities as one of his first projects coming up with the DCU. That I thank goodness that got scrapped. I'm like, what are you doing through?
SPEAKER_02I think WB has been through a fucking lot getting bought up by this company, getting bought up by this company. Because James Gunn, whether he is, you know, he is the head of DC, he also has to answer to people. So I'm not, I will say, I will say maybe 60 to 70% of this shit is his fault, but he has to answer to other people, their shareholders, the people that are, you know, the vice president, and all of these people, and I get it. But at the same time, as like, if I'm James Gunn, I'm like, why the fuck am I rushing a supergirl movie when I have all of these people in the fucking Justice League that I can use their stories? Like, no, I just, yeah. This was just honestly, I think Supergirl should have came later on.
SPEAKER_05We gotta blame him for his hiring, bro. Like you said, the director, the director for Supergirl, the writer. I sent y'all that picture in the group text. Yeah, she wrote like one indie movie in her whole fucking career.
SPEAKER_03Would you say she was his friend or something? What happened? He always hires his own.
SPEAKER_02That's what's gonna fucking get him out of DC.
SPEAKER_07This doesn't look good for you guys.
SPEAKER_02Hold on.
SPEAKER_05Let me let me let me let me let me check. What are we talking about? I want to see. But that's my biggest gripe with him is like even with uh Superman, it was like he had some people that you're like, bro, what the fuck are you doing, bro?
SPEAKER_07Like well, okay. What what I will say though is This is one of your biggest projects. I don't think that him having niche characters is a bad thing. Because let's remember, James, who even was the Guardians of the Galaxy? Like, let's be so for real.
SPEAKER_03What do you mean when it came out?
SPEAKER_07Like when it first came out, but MCU was already built. That's what I'm saying. But yeah, it was already built, those sambles. I think the issue is like there's no passion with these characters. You are not in love with this person. The director is not in love with Supergirl, doesn't love the Supergirl comic. He just was like, Oh, I have to make a Supergirl movie. At least that's how it felt like.
SPEAKER_03Oh, and you think James was like, I love the Guardians of the Galaxy. I think Well, that's what it felt like. Yeah, I think it felt like a Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
SPEAKER_07And was like, I want to do because there was so much passion in it. Every character was unique, every character had their thing, you know.
SPEAKER_05They were amazing. And speaking of he did it with Suicide Squad. Yeah, the Suicide Squad he first did.
SPEAKER_07His version was so good.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07But something else I'll say is like um hot take Supergirl is a terrible version of Guards of the Galaxy Volume 3. Same premise, somebody's dying and they need to go save them. But I felt so much more with Guards of the Galaxy Volume 3. It felt urgent, it felt like we needed to get this done, and it made more sense. It was like the the idea was so creative, like, oh, Rocket is a special being created by someone else who like patent pended at him and has a kill switch inside of him that's like if you break him open to study him, he uh there's a kill switch that kills him. I was like, yo, that is so like that's such a creative way to come up with, oh, he's in danger, instead of oh, a dog gets shot with poison and we have to get the antidote in three days or he dies, which the villain wears around his neck. Like and also who is this guy? We learn nothing about him. I don't know what he does, his powers, or anything. You know what I'm saying? All I know is that yeah, he's super strong sometimes.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes, yeah. That was the whole thing. Like, I think if we want to just sum this whole thing up, you know, so we can move on to X-Men 97, because I just feel like this whole movie. No, I'm just saying, like, I just feel like talking about Supergirl, like I had so so many high hopes for the fucking movie. And then when I got out of the movie and I was just let down by it, it just like, I don't know, bro. It just did something to me, man. So I'll say this the DCU, um, they have a lot of work to do. They really do. And this is coming from an avid fan of both DC and Marvel. Because when I look at, you know, Superman was it it was it was a it was a good movie. It wasn't the best, it was a good movie. But going from that to Supergirl and Supergirl just yeah, solidness.
SPEAKER_05Like, I think it's I think DCU is cooked, bro. Not because of the projects, but it's just with everything going on outside of the studio, yeah, with the prop, you know, not much bought again, yeah. And not making that much money on the movies. Like he was supposed to come out with Superman and that was supposed to do a billion, bro.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05I think the fact that it didn't, I think that's a real thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, superhero physique is a weird thing. I think he's also doing it's it's interesting in the release order because it's like it's kind of like everything at one everything in the kitchen sink at one singular time. And I don't know if DC is pushing him to do that, but it's like D s uh James Gunn clearly loves his like side characters, so it's like you could start out with something like Creature Commando and like slowly build these things and like maybe a theatrical release of like a B superhero that you know isn't that popular, but like maybe the movie is like incredibly written and incredibly directed, and it's like maybe Clayface could be one of those things. It's like these giant things, and then eventually, like two or three years down the line, then it's like boom, Superman, or it could be or it could be Superman, Batman, uh Green Lantern movie. Like maybe it could be the Justice League every time. Cyborg. Yeah, in the beginning, maybe it could be all these crazy movies if you want to make a splash. But I think it's weird because it's like it almost seems like James Gunn. I know he wants to do Superman, but it's it almost seems like James Gunn is like fighting because James Gunn wants this kind of like weird, oddball side universe, which would be super cool, but it's only ever allowed to be in animation or or is limited series. Well, DC is like, where's my fucking billion dollar box off of Batman's again? It's like, well, we already have so much like there's so much going on at the same time, and the changeover wasn't exact. I mean, it was okay, but like the changeover from the DC EU to the DCU was so quick, like one year apart. We're supposed to go like first it was like I don't know, it was just like the last of the DC EU was the Snyder cut in 2021.
SPEAKER_00And the flash.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, you're right. Technically, it was Aquaman 2 out with a band Aquaman 2. Aquaman 2. In what? 2023? Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Aquaman 2. That was fun.
SPEAKER_03I never saw it. I heard of it. It was just like the first one. I didn't really like the white.
SPEAKER_05Snyder was gone way before those. It was whack.
SPEAKER_03It was just like I liked it. I don't know. It was like as a story, it was insane, but I like I was entertained.
SPEAKER_02I'm just gonna say this. James Gunn, if you're not gonna fucking direct these movies that you're in charge of, then I I just honestly, the first four or five movies you should like, I I'm always gonna say this. The first four or five movies you should have directed. Sorry.
SPEAKER_07Or maybe not even direct, but at least have your hand on the pulse.
SPEAKER_02Hey, let me let me ask all three of y'all. Let me ask all of the questions. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_05Let me ask all three of y'all a question. I'm WB. I'm hiring all I'm hiring all three of y'all. I'm being I'm paying y'all 150, 200 million dollars to take over this billion-dollar IP monster that I have. Right. And what first three characters are y'all gonna start your movies off with?
SPEAKER_02Well, it's gonna be Superman, it's gonna be Superman. Hold on, it's gonna be Superman, it's gonna be Batman, and then it's going to be that's hard because the judge like it it could be it could be a toss-up.
SPEAKER_05So it's gonna be a toss-up, but but we're on the same page that Batman, Superman, or the first fucking two that you drop, right?
SPEAKER_03But they can't do Batman. They can't do Batman. There's already they've put themselves in a hole. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Fuck the the Batman and whatever the hell they got going on. Wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_03They gave him they give James Git two million. I thought they only got like 10 for Superman. Well, I don't know how much he made. I'm saying like that. I'm sure they give him the power of it. Yeah, but oh, here's the thing. Here's the thing. Everyone wants to gather their cake and eat it too, and they don't give a shit what even makes it. This this runs by OCD Wild because there's so much shit going on at the same time. And it's like, I'm not gonna double dip and have like the real, the real serious Batman, Robert Pat Battenson, going crazy. That movie's going crazy. Meanwhile, now I have my and it's like I don't know what toys to make anymore, bro. It's like the thing is, here's what they needed to do. No one does it. No one, no one can just wait because everyone is addicted to profits and turnover and orderlies. And here's the problem because what should have happened was finish your fucking DCEU, whatever the fuck, okay? Now we got the Batman. Yeah. Finish whatever the fuck that is, and then when all of that has settled, when there's nothing superhero-wise in that canon, you can do your little fucking side stories, whatever. I don't give a shit. I know James Gunn wants to do everything in one universe, and I accept, like, that's fun. But here's the thing, and they'll never do it, they'll never do it. But there needs to be a point in time in entertainment where there is absolutely fucking nothing for like five years. Yes, no connection. No connection. We need a break. In five years after nothingness, then it comes back. It's like, hey, Batman. Hey, Superman. Hey, Wonder Woman. We're back. It needs to be that.
SPEAKER_02It cause because the thing is people are getting tired of superhero.
SPEAKER_05Well, it's also it's like, bro, it's like certain ones, because that's why I said which characters, because certain characters, those movies are still gonna make millions and billions. Batman made a lot of a shit ton of movie money. Uh Spider-Man's gonna, we're expecting is gonna make a shit ton of movie. Not because it's in the MCU, but because it's fucking Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_03Well, it also looks pretty good, dude. It doesn't look good, though. It does, though. It's the trailer looked better than Supergirl.
SPEAKER_08Honestly, dude, that Supergirl trailer did not excite me. Everybody was like, oh my god, Supergirl looks so hype. The trailer was the movie. You watched a trailer, wow, that was lame.
SPEAKER_03You watched the movie, there you go. Even in the Superman after credits, like, I don't care. It's like, oh, and that's another thing. There was no point in that. No aftercredits.
SPEAKER_07And it's like, you're not even gonna try. They're gonna stand there and look at a crag in a wall.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Oh, yeah, that was ridiculous. That was so.
SPEAKER_08Maybe sit there for this.
SPEAKER_02You could have put that shit on HBO Max, honestly. Supergirl could have been on HBO Max.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But they still got an unreleased Batgirl Batwoman movie.
SPEAKER_01I want to see that dude.
SPEAKER_03I want to see that one.
SPEAKER_05So let's keep it DC, TJ, before you go to X-Men, because I kind of wrote it in a I put X-Men next. Uh DC animation. Yeah, yeah. I wanted to touch on that. They they still cooking, even though we I know we've been getting on ragging on DCU and the live action shit. The DC animation shit is cooking. They just announced Nightfall. Well, the uh trailer just came. What did the trailer come out? Nightfall.
SPEAKER_00What's that?
SPEAKER_07Move here is not quite on the pulse of uh DC animation.
SPEAKER_05What is what is Nightfall Victor? If you watch X-Men 97, you would love DC animation. They shit is fire.
SPEAKER_07Well, I started I started Creature Commandos and I was like, yo, this is Oh, well, that's different.
SPEAKER_05That's different. That's DC animation. You need to watch out the whole uh New 52 universe, like the Flashpoint Paradox type shit. That's the animation they're talking about.
SPEAKER_03You need to watch, well, Flashpoint Paradox is sick. All the DC animation, but bro, Salmos, you need to watch limited series on Prime, Batman the Caped Crusader, bro.
SPEAKER_07Yo, I have seen that, but I haven't like I haven't seen it.
SPEAKER_03Finish it, bro. It's like eight episodes, but it is so good. Is it really? Watch that shit and watch field max watch the long Halloween part one and two. That shit's gas too. Bro, they're all good, they're both good. I'll I'll put you on, but like if you have Amazon Prime, just watch the Cape Crusader. It's like it's like 1950s Batman. Yeah, but I still need to watch it.
SPEAKER_07But I thought I I didn't, I I don't know what I thought it was. It's so good. But dude, it's I got you.
SPEAKER_05You need to watch Bat Ninja 2. They got a Bat Ninja part one and two. It's like an anime style Batman movie. It's fire. You can watch, I think you can watch Bat Ninja 1 on YouTube for free with ads. They took it off Max for some reason. Oh, but they got Batman Bat Ninja 2 on Max. It's Bat Ninja 2 is lit because that one has the Justice League in it. The first one is just like Batman. He gets trapped in time and like feudal Japan. The art style is fucking fire. The story was sick. I think you I think any Batman fan would like that.
SPEAKER_07I'll definitely, I'll definitely check it out. Because I loved the Batman. I think I don't know if there's a hot take or not, but for me, I like the Batman more than the Christopher Nolan Oh, interesting Batmans. I'm just saying that the Batman that I wanted to see was the Robert Pattinson, dark detective. I mean, that's what Batman is. DC stands for detective comedy.
SPEAKER_03I loved that part.
SPEAKER_07You know? And like that. Christian Bale has some detective. Yep, yep, yep. What? That you mean the goofy guy from Lego Batman? And all of a sudden it's like, uh, I I thought it was handled so well, and I'm so excited to see what that universe has in store. Which I don't know, is Clayface part of that universe or is that DCU?
SPEAKER_03No, it's it's DCU. It's interesting because you'd think, here's the thing. I thought it would be cool to make a clayface part of that universe and just deform him like naturally, like an asset attack or something. But the DCU, he's straight up just got the power. Like he can go, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_07Wait, they're not doing powers at all with the Batman one?
SPEAKER_03No, I think the I think the Batman is staying grounded. The Batman is staying real life grounded. Yeah, but it's not gonna be froze f froze on Frost.
SPEAKER_07If uh Mr. Freeze.
SPEAKER_03Does Dubai have a weather machine?
SPEAKER_07I mean what I'm saying is I don't mind a little bit of mysticism as grounded in something more or less real. And this kind of leads into something else is gonna talk about. I feel like the Marvel characters are just more relatable because they're just guys, they're just human beings.
SPEAKER_02I just feel like DCU has a lot of shit going on. Because this right here, Clayface will be part of the DCU's chapter one gods and monsters.
SPEAKER_07It's like that's fire. That's a fire type.
SPEAKER_02I get it. I get what you're doing, but it's like it's so much going on. Like it's so too much, too fast. It's too, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but they got Nightfall coming out, it's an animated movie, rated R. They got the absolute Batman series on the way. That shit's gonna be Joker's getting his own show. Yeah. And then Superman, uh my crypto, my crypto, or my oh, not Superman, it's crypto. He's getting a show, but yeah, whatever.
SPEAKER_07How many Batman movies are there gonna be? How many Superman movies are there gonna be? Because it's like the we already had the DC U.
SPEAKER_02I feel like Yen Impasta needs to go in there and be like, hey guys, we're we're here. We're we need to we need to help y'all figure this shit out because something's not clicking. Yeah, we need to go up in there and be like, we we we need to we need to settle this shit out. Like, throw all of that other shit away and focus on this. Focus solely on this.
SPEAKER_05I think they just need to do away with all the universe shit. Just make honest.
SPEAKER_02Just make it no for real. I I would say this. I mean, they keep trying to recreate this universe. It's not to me, and I'm gonna be very bluntly honest about this, it's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen until you focus on the material at hand.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. I feel like they're trying to they're trying to they're doing the same thing that killed Marvel. They're not gonna. Well, hold on, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Marvel's not dead yet. I in in in my opinion, too many shows attached to too many movies. Now, in order to understand everything and care about everything, I have to like Thunderbolts. I actually enjoy Thunderbolts. I thought it was a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03Right, yeah, no, I like Thunderbolts.
SPEAKER_07But like now I my mom was like, Well, who are these people? And I was like, well, she's like she's from this show, she's from this movie, she's from this show.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And it's too much. Too much too much superhero at one time, which is creating they're creating their own fatigue.
SPEAKER_02But Disney has pulled back, like they saw like what was going on, like in all the movies. There's I will say it it's a lot, a lot of shit that we people give Disney and everything, they did understand, like, after Thunderbolts, they were like, all right, we need to pull pull the fuck back at the time. They're like, my bad. People are not understanding what is going on. Because honestly, Thunderbolts was supposed to be close to a billion dollar movie. And when it only made what, like 400 something million, they were like, okay, we gotta pull, like, we gotta, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Pump the brain.
SPEAKER_05These are pulling the I They pulling a James gun. They just like, this isn't canon. This isn't canon. This isn't like Secret Invasion. They're like, what the fuck is that? We don't even think. This president never seen it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Wait, they said that wasn't canon.
SPEAKER_05They basically kind of scrapped that shit when they're doing when they made uh what was the the show after that? Um the show after that. Iron Heart or some shit. That has nothing to do with it. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, but they just ignore it. I just ignored it.
SPEAKER_07I started it and I was like, eh. I thought it what I saw was pretty okay.
SPEAKER_05I know a lot of people complained about it, but Well, it was number one for like Captain America, they didn't answer none of those questions. It was like Roadie, yeah, he's yeah, he's here.
SPEAKER_07I don't know. I I'm just saying, like I don't know. We need I feel like Marvel has used up all of the comic book fun movie style. We need to switch it up. Let's have something different. Well uh Clayface getting more gritty, I like that. Batman getting more gritty and real.
SPEAKER_02That's DC. That is literally DC.
SPEAKER_07DC, my bad. DC, I like that. Let's ha let's switch it up a bit. Wonder Man, I don't know if you guys saw that.
SPEAKER_03It was a good one.
SPEAKER_02I love Wonder Man.
SPEAKER_03Wonder Man was so fucking good.
SPEAKER_07Dude, it was. Honestly, the other thing is it's not canon, right? That's what they said.
SPEAKER_02It's not?
SPEAKER_07It's like a random, it's like a Marvel project show. That's what I heard.
SPEAKER_02No, that Marvel, like uh uh our um Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_07I'm gonna look it up right now, actually.
SPEAKER_02Wonder Man's gonna be he's gonna be in the extended universe.
SPEAKER_03That's still canon though, right? Like, isn't that still? Or no, it's not.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I don't Marvel's not dead. They just they just fucked up. Oh, yes, Wonderman implemented X-Man.
SPEAKER_07My bad.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah, they should have just implemented X-Men sooner when they first got it, but X-Men. They're gonna bounce back because everybody's gonna fuck with X-Men. That's all I'm gonna do. Everybody's gonna fuck with Spider-Man. Yeah, bro. These characters ain't gonna die. Ain't gonna die, bro. They're gonna people are gonna come watch Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk. People always come watch that shit. Yeah, they just gotta make it good. That's all they gotta do.
SPEAKER_02Um97? Well, no, I just wanted to make sure we were good with the DCU that everyone got their thoughts and opinions across. Fuck them.
SPEAKER_09Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04All right.
SPEAKER_07Well, is the Suicide Squad part of the DCU? No.
SPEAKER_03No, it was part of the DC EU.
SPEAKER_05I think the new Suicide Squad is the James Gunn.
SPEAKER_07No, no, I don't think it was. It's directed by James Gunn.
SPEAKER_03I know it was, but I think it was just the DC EU. And then, yeah, I know, I think it's the old stuff.
SPEAKER_07Do you think he they made he made that movie?
SPEAKER_03And then some of it came crossed over because of the character. No, it was the DC EU, and then everyone's well, what about Peacemaker? And he's like, uh, and then he had an episode where Peacemaker fights Peacemaker, the peacemaker from the DC EU fights the peacemaker from the DCU, right? And they fight each other, and cause because the peacemaker from the DC EU goes into the DCU one, kills the one from the DC one, is now in the DCU and swapped over. So James Gunn was kind of cherry-picking his way.
SPEAKER_07Wait, there's a there's a he was in the DC EU.
SPEAKER_02The uh peacemaker on the DCU. You see how all of this shit is confusing. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's yes insane. In Suicide Squad 2016.
SPEAKER_07I actually haven't seen that one.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_07Because I heard it was so bad.
SPEAKER_03It was whatever. Rick Flagg was the like the leader of the of that suicide squad, right? Rick Flagg. In in the Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, spoiler, kills Rick Flagg. You know, remember? In the Suicide Squad, Peacemaker kills Rick Flagg. And he's like, Peacemaker, what a fucking joke or whatever, remember? He he like stabs that guy with with the with the glass or something.
SPEAKER_00In jail?
SPEAKER_03In jail. He's I don't know, no, no. It's like the end of the movie. He kills Rick Flagg. He's like, I'm sorry. And he kills him because he's gonna government secrets are gonna get out, and Rick Flagg's like, fuck that. I don't care about government secrets. I'm gonna the people need to know.
SPEAKER_07I ain't gonna lie, I don't remember that at all. Probably because I didn't know who he was killing, because I didn't watch the original league.
SPEAKER_03Well, exactly, but he was killing, and I loved him. Joel Kinneman was was cool in that. But um, anyways, the guy from Altered Carbon. Do you ever watch that show? It's cool. You should watch Altered Carbon. First season on Netflix, incredible cyberpunk show. Anyways, doesn't matter. So, anyways, Peacemaker killed that guy who was from the original Suicide Squad movie. So now Peacemaker's walking around, he's got his own show. And then James Gunn literally like like put in kind of the flash and Aquaman and the end scene of that one Peacemaker season. Remember?
SPEAKER_06I didn't watch Peacemaker.
SPEAKER_03Well, at the end, there was a silhouette of Superman because we didn't know who Superman was. There was the Flash, and then there was Aquaman. It was ridiculous. From the DCE. From the DC EU. And then James Gunn was like, Yeah, that's not canon anymore. And then and then in season two of Peacemaker, Peacemaker like goes, I think, into a different universe, into the DCU, finds that Peacemaker, kills him, and is now part of the DCU.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, he is part of the DCU, and that's what I was gonna say. So he's part of the DCU because he left his time, his dimension, and went to the DCU dimension?
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, but well, technically Peacemaker was always part of the DCU dimension, but the old one went, well, you know, with the memories of his adventures and killed the new one, I think. I I I'm I'm someone can correct me if I'm wrong, obviously, but this is what I've I've read about. I I didn't watch that season, I've seen some of the first. So I'm so bad about two of these things.
SPEAKER_02Season two of Peacemaker, basically, like so at the end of Peacemaker season one, like, is like um when they show up after everything, like Aquaman, Wonder Man, all of them are standing right there. He's like, fuck you, Justice League, da da da. But in the season two opening, they get rid of Aquaman, Wonder Man, and it's like Wonder Woman, sorry, not Wonder Man, sorry, Wonder Woman, and it's like Supergirl, and um they add who who else did they add? They add Supergirl, oh, and they add um the Green Lantern, Hot Girl. Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03They re-added that's they re-edited it to include the DC.
SPEAKER_05It's not even Justice League. It's it's because Justice League isn't the thing. It was the Justice Gang.
SPEAKER_03It still doesn't make any sense.
SPEAKER_02It doesn't make any sense because Superman and Supergirl. It's weird, bro.
SPEAKER_03Season one before he goes into the DCU. It doesn't make it doesn't make it. It doesn't make any sense.
SPEAKER_02And this is why it's the DCU, just the whole DC.
SPEAKER_05All that shit was just scrap. Like he didn't use none of that. No, bro. It was like, just deciding it.
SPEAKER_03It still goes to another universe. It's the other one. I need to watch this show because I'm not.
SPEAKER_05No, bro. I think you got it confused, Mario. There's no DCU and DC EU peacemaker. It's all the same guy.
SPEAKER_03Oh, so they edited it to make it all the same? Yeah. What's that? Doesn't he go and meet himself? He goes into this like racist racist. It's a neo-Nazi universe.
SPEAKER_02Oh. That's what it is.
SPEAKER_07But Peacemaker was in the Suicide Squad, and he's in the Superman movie.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, they used to be a good one. They used a clip of him.
SPEAKER_02They used a clip of him on a tele.
SPEAKER_05They used the new Suicide Squad plot, the way it ended. They they referenced that into the DCU. Correct. But everything from Suicide Squad is not in DCU.
SPEAKER_03However, there is characters from the DCEU exactly in the Suicide Squad. Amanda Waller. Amanda Waller. And and and Harley Quinn. Harley Quinn and Rick Flagg. Unless James Gunn came out and said, Well, that's a different universe. The Suicide Squad is a different universe with the same characters. In that case, I guess it all makes sense.
SPEAKER_07I think the best way to solve this issue is to go back and go to James Gunn. Actually, here, I have two things. Number one, I feel like James Gunn was kind of thrown at this and is kind of trying to make a cohesive, connected universe as he goes, while with Marvel, they kind of had a game plan beforehand and they just hoped that Iron Man did well enough that people wanted more. And number two, I feel like um one of the best ways to write a movie or to write a story is to write it down, give it to somebody else, and then have them read it back to you. That'll be the ultimate test to see if it is dumb.
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm sure they have that. You know what I'm saying? Like we they do have that. They're just yes man. Um that's that's that's it, it's great. It's it's fantastic. They're yes man because they don't want to.
SPEAKER_07It needs, I feel like, I feel like.
SPEAKER_05But no, bro, James Gunn did this working on this. He made he made Peacemaker and shit back when he was in the middle of the day.
SPEAKER_02I mean, he didn't have to accept to be the uh be over the DCU or DC at all. No, what is it? This is a decision that he fucking made that he was going to bring all of this stuff to fruition. And again, that's why I said like 70 to 80 percent, like most of this shit is his fault. I will say that. Like, I I totally agree with Big is saying and everything like that. But at the same time, if I'm James Gunn and I see Supergirl right now, if I'm right now, if I'm James Gunn, I'm like, we need a fucking reset. This shit is not gonna work. Get whatever we're playing. The only movie that's planned is Clayface. Stick with Clayface. The marketing, let's push that shit out. Everything else, let's think it's just rated R.
SPEAKER_03Well, also, you gotta think that very strange. James Gunn was like hired into the DC EU as when when Marvel was giving him so much shit when he was fired. So he's like, you know what? I'm gonna go to recognition and think about it. And yeah, he was fired from Marvel because he had a bunch of tweets from a million years ago or something. And then and then it was a whole controversy, and then he got hired back. But the thing is, the crazy thing is like, okay, that's fine, but like, don't I know you did the Suicide Squad, that's fine, but he already made Peacemaker and he's like, I love these characters, I'm gonna keep them going. And it's like, I'm really sorry, I love John Cena and I love the DC properties and all this. But like, and maybe you can reintroduce them later, but like you have to start new. Yeah, you have to end the old guard, end it, and then make wait a couple years, come up with a game plan for your first 10 movies with all incredible directors and writers and all this.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Not your friends, and then people are willing to wait.
SPEAKER_07Not your friends. Spider Spider-Man uh uh across the spider-verse or whatever the next one is gonna be. Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_02Well, well, I'll say this. Even if they're your friends, you have to know their work. If they're just, oh, I just shot this indie film, like, no, I need you, I need you to produce. I need you, like, what do you have that I can, you know what I'm saying? Even if they're my friends, I should I should take that back because your friends, they could be amazing, right? But they have to bring the work.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. All right. Well, amen. Moving on to uh Marvel, the Marvel Jesus. I feel like, I feel like James Gunners might hear this shit. He'd be like, fuck y'all. No, bro. Like, I love James Gunners. We love him, James Gunn. We love him.
SPEAKER_06That's why we're so upset.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, bro. Yeah, I want the I want to become.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and you know how I felt about it. I told y'all, like, I was so excited. I was like, I think James Gunn is gonna bring DC back.
SPEAKER_02I was excited for Supergirl.
SPEAKER_03It makes me think maybe there's something, there's something going on over there. DC man, there's something going on. They're getting, yeah, they're getting they're getting acquired again. I know that. I'm just saying, like, just in general. I mean, in in, you know, like, well, they got acquired and then it's all that, and then it's all that, oh no, nothing's happening. Don't worry, guys. The DCU is safe. It's like, of course you're telling me that. Can they just grab the writers twice if they're trying to fuck with you?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05Can they just grab the writers from the animation side and just bring them over to the movie side?
SPEAKER_02I would love that. It would cost too much money. It cost uh yeah, they can't get two paychecks around here, Vic. There's only one.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_09God damn.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, man, speaking of uh what Vic was talking about a couple of minutes ago, the X-Men. Um X-Men 97 is so fucking good.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I season two, I didn't think it could be better than season one, but my god. Is the whole thing though?
SPEAKER_07No, only three, I think.
SPEAKER_02Three episodes? Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. I I have not seen it yet. Um I'm not a huge X-Men fan. I I I do need to rewatch the X-Men movies because I kind of watched them when I was in like in a bad spot in my life, so I was like, kind of hated everything, and I watched them and I was like, but X-Men 97 was wow. That was so good. And the animation style and everything, the way they handled the characters, I thought was so like palatable. And I also liked that.
SPEAKER_02You watch season one, right?
SPEAKER_07Yeah. And I also liked that I didn't have to watch the original show to understand what was going on.
SPEAKER_02That was so good.
SPEAKER_07It would have been a it would have added more. Yes. But if you didn't watch it, it wouldn't take anything away.
SPEAKER_02Correct.
SPEAKER_03Is it a continuation of blatantly of the old one?
SPEAKER_02Uh yes, yeah, yeah, it's a continuation of the old one. Um, I'll say this with the first three episodes being out right now on Disney Plus. Um, so if you have Disney Plus, um that Hulu package, go sh just go watch that right now. Um I will say the first episode I mean, Jesus Christ. Amazing. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Um, because there's three it's three different timelines, right? You got the present day, you got the future, and you have the past, right? Oh wow and the biggest, you know, the biggest threat right now in this season, okay, because you know at the end of season one, like there was this big like bomb or something that everyone thought that were dead and it's like no they got pulled into two different dimensions you know one team went to the you know before you know A D and then the other the other team went to BC right so the main threat to the season is apocalypse apocalypse always finds a fucking way to come back into the apocalypse the is apocalypse well they they showed him in the first season yeah apocalypse is like the Earth yeah basically he keeps and the thing about apocalypse people don't understand is apocalypse always comes back like he always comes back he's always he has the power to resurrect himself right in due time it's kind of like Cain you said what it's kind of like Kane like and they they can jump in different points at time different points in time and everything like that. So the biggest threat to the X-Men has always and always will be apocalypse Wow it's crazy yeah yeah um and then season two just keep like it just really shows you like what the X-Men have to do and it shows you like for me about certain characters what they can do. Like there's one scene with Storm and like Storm is like doubting herself or whatever and it's like really I think it's Hope Summers that's in it. You just have to watch this I don't really give too much away I definitely want to watch I just love how they do Cyclops bro Cyclops Cyclops whoever whoever directed in 97 Cyclops and cable get done just as season one ants a lot of people don't even know cable cable is literally like uh what's his name from uh Fantastic four Richard yes like yes like Reed's son yes uh what's his name what's his uh the kid's name franklin yeah Franklin Richards yeah so people don't think cable is like that's what Nathan Summers is to like the Avengers he's that level like fucking and he's always there when apocalypse comes back he's there to destroy and kill apocalypse because he has Gene Gray's powers yeah so like that speaks for itself like he is okay yeah but you Samos I'm telling you you you and Mario have to start season two have you watched season one Mario I need Disney I'll get it I'll get it okay dude it's good bro I was I was surprised well when you start season two Samos you will not be disappointed and I I can binge this in one day right um I sure they're like 20 minute episodes yeah yeah yeah all right I would not as soon as I finish the show I'm watching right now on HBO Max I will watch that yeah it's amazing man like to see Rooster on HBO Oh no is it good wow check it out it's it's it's like a uh it's like a drama type of comedy show with um Michael Scott oh okay we'll have to check that out oh um Steve Perell with Steve Perell I I couldn't sleep one night and I was like I'll watch one episode five episodes later and each episode's like 45 minutes long anyway we'll check out Roosters and also with that being said X-Men 97 um Vic do you have any more uh commentary on X-Men 97 or any of y'all yeah it's it started off pretty good man these first three episodes didn't disappoint where it left off yeah they say the fourth episode is gonna be fucking bananas oh yeah I can I can imagine we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg I just hope I wish they bring all the 90s shows back like that that would be fucking dope like Spider-Man show Fantastic Four Hulk that would be sick because they kind of already teased showing the characters in season one yeah if they could just bring that universe back like because I trust this team that did X Men 97.
SPEAKER_05I know uh what's his name uh Bo DeMayo De Mo Yeah he still can say I mean he wrote yeah he wrote these two seasons so I'm kind of like ah he's not here I hope they get somebody they can write season three just as good but because season three and four I think is already greenlit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah wow someone was like well someone was like well where are the Avengers in this word I was like I honestly know when people read the comics or people are like fans of like a whole like yes it's the same Marvel is all in the same X-Men Avenger all of that Avengers do not fuck with the X-Men but they showed them they showed a bunch of Avengers in season one which is a little bit Captain America was was you know he was cool with them they just was clear up through his fucking shield out the fucking like they don't that's all it was but they deal with no they don't fuck with them at all like I'm like there's certain Avengers that do certain I'm not gonna say all the Avengers there are certain Avengers that do not fuck with the X-Men because of what the X-Men go through. Like the X-Men like they the battles that they fight like they fight they battles like they it's just a different level of like hey this is not our fight or whatever. Avengers are more kind of like you know like this is not our fight there's mutants because they're mutants right they're mutants and you know and I'm not saying all Avengers but if you read the comics and you read the you know right well they just picking a side I don't think it's like oh we fucking hate y'all it's just no it's not I mean they just you know like we we gonna stick stick with the government because even the Avengers split because of that remember the Civil War is that it's just you know that's a whole yeah but yeah yeah but yeah it's why is they got them in their X-Men like why are the X-Men persecuted Well the Mutants are just kind of like mutants are looked at different than than regular like heroes. Yeah people don't understand mutants so basically that's why when X-Men were created it was just like it was in a time where like they didn't know what was going on. Nobody understood mutants or no one understood how they you know what I'm saying? Because it's an X gene. So if you're a mutant you carry that X gene.
SPEAKER_05And they were afraid that they're gonna take over that's why you got people like uh like Stryker and uh shit like that. That was trying to create the Signals creating these uh evil mutants to destroy the mutants and then you got you know I guess for me I I I won't speak too much on it because I don't know the X-Men like that.
SPEAKER_02But for me it's like you know Hulk and Captain America and Thor, all of those people are fine but then it's like now there's these I I maybe it's because they're because I don't know it's like why are the Avengers looked at as heroes but the X-Men are looked at as villains well the Hulk doesn't have like and and I'll we'll get into it kind of like later and I'll send you some like stuff on the X-Men Samos and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_05But like Well Avengers are looked at kind of like that too Samos you know when they had their moments yeah like Hulk Hulk is one of those people that people don't fuck with like right they literally send armies to try to capture and that's why the Hulk and the Hulk it's crazy because Hulk really the Hulk the Hulk really fucks with the X-Men in the comedy like he really fucks with the X-Men in the comedy. I think Hulk gets a pass because he dates he was dating the general's daughter yeah so he kind of like had a little soft spot it's a whole bunch of different plot points for you like different ways different Civil War kind of explained that too where it was like we can't have these superpowered humans running around doing whatever they think is right.
SPEAKER_07We need to lock them down. Yeah okay X-Men or not just X-Men but mutants in general get looked at a little different from the Avengers because these are good guys who came and started out as heroes where it's like X-Men mutants are like people who are looked down upon once you get your powers we throw you in this little a freak school for because you're just born with them so I can just born with them I actually see that because the Avengers it's like we chose you to be a hero or you know you're they became a hero and you're I tell you with these people they just they got the powers first then they became heroes.
SPEAKER_02Well yeah and I'll tell you what like the person that is directing I forgot his name um the director he is taking his time really on um like pre-production for X-Men because man I'm telling you when the bro this movie has got to like it has to rock it has to rock our our seats bro it has to wait what minute X-Men they're they're in pre-production for X-Men the film.
SPEAKER_05What's going to be the first X-Men phase seven or what are we what phase are we you said X-Men what? What'd you say Mario?
SPEAKER_03Oh it's just like is it just gonna be called X-Men because of the introduction to the Marvel or something?
SPEAKER_02Well it it's just it's gonna be X-Men yeah I don't know what it's gonna be called I'm just thinking I don't know if they're like well they're I don't know if they're gonna be in a recasting X-Men MC Secret Wars and Doomsday is probably gonna have whatever the fuck they're gonna do and then a recast and they're gonna have a new yeah they're gonna have a new cast yeah and Hugh Jackman is saying he wants to keep playing Wolverine so yeah we don't know how we're gonna fucking do that shit but yeah but I mean and listen it you can do it but it definitely has to be a young one for the new team.
SPEAKER_03It does it has to be a young one make them short make them tiny short Danny DeVito Danny DeVito is Wolverine DeVito's Daniel Radcliffe Daniel Radcliffe oh my God Henry Cavill uh yeah you know who would be amazing actually low key Scott Eastwood Clint Eastwood's son? Yeah I know he's like 40 I think he's 40 now but he's like he's stout you know yeah but wasn't Hugh Jackman like it in his like early like his late 30s when he started yeah I think so Wolverine's always older than the rest of the group exactly hold on a second right you see what I'm saying Scotty could definitely do that shit hey Bub but the one where it's like they were allowed one singular F bomb in the movie and and Hugh Jackman just used it as like are you Wolverine?
SPEAKER_02Fuck off man but listen um shout out to um X Men 97 season two Caval Wolverine anybody though go watch it on Disney Plus no toll and he was already also already Wolverine the Cavaline Wolverine I go he did dude he looked huge he's ripped broken in the mirror well well I think this is you um moving on from X-Men I think this is all you because I have not seen the trailer for Shrek 5.
SPEAKER_07Oh Shrek 5? Oh yeah guys I saw the images I'm not gonna lie it is jarring that they look so different but I can get past it I can get past it it looks it it the trailer gives Shrek 2. I don't know if you guys remember like Shrek 2 was just so fun and it was just crazy and it was just like such a good goofy random time this trailer is definitely giving that it's giving a mixture of all type of fantasy stuff they even have like Disney marks at Disney like they walk they walk by an alley and they see Olaf like a like a like a like a like a street lizard version of Olaf. Dude oh man I don't know it looks like it could be a good time I loved Puss and Booth's last wish so you know okay I'm excited I feel like Dreamworks is also cooking right now. Is Dreamworks back?
SPEAKER_05I was just about to say that I think Dreamworks is a violent movie with the you know what the the two girls or whatever man that looks very interesting I am so hyped for that um and like I don't know that's what I want I want I don't okay and I think I don't just want original I want good I would argue I want good more than original because if a movie is a copy of another movie but it's better what if I feel like that's a big risk if a copy is another movie bad well I'm just saying like like what am I saying actually I don't know what I'm saying I don't know what you're saying I think I'm gonna keep this simple yes please give me give me Michael Myers give me Eddie Murphy I'm good bro yeah we're good we'll see I'm good bro like what the fuck I'm going to watch the movie I'm the nose yeah the animation being different okay I got you but if it's a if it's just a shading thing too they could easily reshade well I mean easily but you know voice actors make these movies they changed they definitely changed like the style and they changed like the faces a little bit to make them more like to give them a little bit of a facelift.
SPEAKER_03Yeah which I mean like whatever someone did did redo the the lighting though and it did look a little better. Yeah they just all they did was change the shading and it and it looked a little better but like whatever.
SPEAKER_07Yeah like guys let's not be nitpicky here. If I go see this movie and I laugh and I have a good time it was a good movie.
SPEAKER_03Because Puss and Boots had a way different art direction when when he was introduced in Shrek.
SPEAKER_07Yeah it was almost like painted yeah it had an art direction period. Yeah and dude that movie was so good. Older Shrek was like it is rendered well now I'm thinking the new this new Shrek trailer is rendered not art style no nothing it's just cleaner rendering. Oh okay okay interesting but Puss and Boots is like the painty and at the end of Puss and Boots he's in the boat and he goes back to far far away landing this probably I don't know and if he's in it is he gonna look in that style or is he going to be painted still he'll definitely the style we'll never know they're not gonna like a different it's like yeah it's like code Lioko yeah dude man.
SPEAKER_03Vic do you remember Code Lioko? Code Lioko it was like 2D animation but once they go into like the Matrix they're 3D oh yeah you know I was like I don't think they're gonna do that with this or when Jimmy Neutron and uh fairly obvious it'll be one Jimmy I just hope it's good yeah I just hope it's good I can forgive it if it's good.
SPEAKER_07Yeah I just want a good movie like I don't know I I like at the at the end of the day that's all I can hope for that's unfortunately so much to ask for sometimes it is and then it hasn't been a bad Shrek movie though right there hasn't been a bad Shrek well Shrek the third was yeah really I can't I don't even remember Shrek the third so I think I thought what is it Forever and After wasn't that good? Forever and I missed with the fourth one I actually like that movie. I missed with the many times but well we'll see yeah we will see it's just sad because you know Pixar used to be on top on the way here I was listening to soundtracks of like different Pixar movies I was like dude holy moly up like I'm tearing up listening to the soundtrack of Up the soundtrack. Well of course I don't know yeah Wally is my favorite 3D animated movie of all time dude that movie is the number one movie actually like Mario loves Wally Wally I think is the greatest 3D animation like animated movie of all time it's just not not saying animation necessarily no I agree I love Wally too though Wally was fire it is like and like I don't know if you guys saw the trailer to the new Pixar movie Gato that's coming out I don't know it's the style is different but it's how do you spell it in my opinion and then after Gato they're releasing um how do you spell three and then after Incredibles three they're releasing Coco 2. No what? Yeah don't forget live action Moana how do you how do I wanted to but you just reminded me and you know what as badly as I don't want to see it I probably will because I love Moana so much. Wait Moana's not Pixar that's just regular Disney isn't it yeah that is just regular Disney Oh my bad I thought it was how do you spell Gato Samos G-A-T-T-O-T-C-T hyphen over the O I think okay I just need to yeah oh 2027 film I got you remember me now that I'm back in theater oh okay go on gato it's gonna be released March 5th 2027 is interesting but the trailer doesn't give us much and that's okay because sometimes the trailers are bad but the movies are fantastic okay example Zootopia I don't know if you guys saw the trailer for that it was literally nothing it was like what even is this then the movie came out and I was like this is probably one of the greatest Disney movies yeah the two is awesome too yeah I um well you didn't like two I like two I I haven't I like through it because I keep falling asleep the snake the snake but that's just a that's just like key quan key being keequan key yeah because I like key quan key uh it is a long movie too I think I just love the first one so much it was good it was so the fact that there's a second one I was like well the first one made a lot of money and if the first one makes here's what you need Salmus this is what you want let me tell you what you want go watch Rush Hour too you want you want an amazing movie that flops financially so you can stay amazing for the rest of time.
SPEAKER_03Amen I hoped happened to Mir's edge but instead it it it was it became a cult classic I heard the second one was good enough too dude Iron Giant bro classic flops in theaters and we never got a second one and we never got a second one but man speaking Iron Giant was it's like do you go for money or do you go for reputation reputation?
SPEAKER_07Depends I feel like the artists or the stockholders reputation makes you money further down the line and builds trust yeah but that's but money gives you the ability to make more movies but also the people who are probably making the decision aren't there further down the line.
SPEAKER_02No exactly yeah um so when are we as a core group going to see a movie together because I'm definitely not going to see fucking Moana.
SPEAKER_05Um what's the next one that's coming out I mean we go Dan Byrne we could see Odyssey oh we will listen in the Regal listen we gotta talk about that bro we gotta talk about it let's I'm going on the 30th Regal IMAX okay why didn't you why didn't you text the group somos and say you were going on this date we could have all like what are I haven't bought the tickets yet I'm still figuring out the time with everybody else so I'm saying it's okay send your seat in chat I will yeah I will everybody has to go see why Regal if you have 70 millimeters because that's a real IMAX theater oh you mean like Opry's yeah that's a real IMAX theater there's only like something like 42 yeah in the USA and we're lucky enough to have one I'm gonna pay my respects to Mr to to Sir Chris Sir Christopher and he and he wants me to watch the movie in this format also Spider-Man brand new day comes out what this month?
SPEAKER_03When does it come out? Oh wait we could yeah we should see that shoot I'd be down to see that 31st yeah we can see that one yeah let's go let's go to that one let's go to that one I mean no no no I'll still I'll still see the odyssey Christopher Nolan's about to make a fly listen okay I love I'm a Christopher Nolan like like purist for we didn't catch that I just gotta say I just gotta say like making the odyssey is like listen why are we using like your daddy's not coming little brat like what what are we doing here dude you see the trailer where he's like my dad's on his way it's like your daddy the trailer looks goofy bro I'm like isn't this written by Homer?
SPEAKER_07Yeah they they they showed us the trailer before Supergirl and I was like what is this Homer's odd tea I'm not gonna lie the IMAX trailer is definitely the best trailer for the Odyssey and you can only see that trailer if you go see a movie at Regal in IMAX okay so I don't know if you guys have seen that trailer but it was fire it was the beginning of the movie.
SPEAKER_03You know what I might do? I might have you go to the Odyssey first And when you get your review, I'll see it on your second go-round.
SPEAKER_02I'll go to the Odyssey. I'll go to the Odyssey. Come on.
SPEAKER_06We all like to experience it together. And then that way.
SPEAKER_03I'm sure it'll look cool.
SPEAKER_06Dude, it's going to look amazing.
SPEAKER_02Oh, God. We gotta go to Spider-Man. We're going to Spider-Man. No, we have to go to Spider-Man. We're going to Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_07We're going to go to Spider-Man. I'm a little biased because he's the best.
SPEAKER_03I'm still watching Punisher, the that the OG, like, or the Netflix one.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I just finished Daredevil, so I'm going to start watching Punisher.
SPEAKER_03Which you finished all of Daredevil Born Again, too?
SPEAKER_07No, not Born Again. The original Netflix. Bro, so good. So good. Oh my gosh. Yeah. To think that Iron Fist is in the same universe.
SPEAKER_03Hey, he's coming back too, baby. Is he really? Luke Cage. I love Luke Cage. I don't care what.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I haven't seen it. I started Luke Cage. I need to finish this thing.
SPEAKER_02I need to do this. It's almost. Hold on. Wait a minute, Mario. You didn't finish Luke Cage? I only finished soon.
SPEAKER_07Because I was I I was kind of like, no, wait, did I finish it? Sunger when I started watching it and the first like episode's a little more.
SPEAKER_03No, you know what? I might have finished Luke Cage because wasn't Defenders after Luke Cage? Yep. If Defenders was after Luke Cage, then I think I finished Luke Cage. I didn't watch that much of Jessica Jones and I didn't finish Iron Fist.
SPEAKER_07So should I watch Luke Cage?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Should you what? Yeah, no, Luke Cage is good.
SPEAKER_07It's good? Okay.
SPEAKER_03I hear Iron Fist in the case.
SPEAKER_07Because I haven't heard that.
SPEAKER_02I think you better finish Luke Cage uh.
SPEAKER_07Listen, you guys are the first people in my life that have talked about Luke Cage. Was the villain in Luke Cage season two what was his name?
SPEAKER_03Diamondback? Like, right? Wasn't it Diamondback or something?
SPEAKER_02I think yeah, the first season, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it was the first season? Man, what was the villain in the second season then?
SPEAKER_02The second season was like uh it was a good season. I haven't seen it in a while, but it was good. It was this dude that he has like powers and everything like that, too. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02Because I know he gets involved with uh with Jessica Jones. Yes, yes. Yeah. It's a all right. Well, guys, um we discussed a lot on this podcast and it wasn't three hours long. What was it? I can't see the time. Two hours and 14 minutes.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Not bad, not bad.
SPEAKER_03We're getting better, we're getting better. Come on, was my mic good double time? I I got a new cable on here. Is the mic alright? Yeah, it's fine. Cool.
SPEAKER_02Cool, good, good. Well, do y'all have anything? You know, I know we didn't talk about like what we've been doing the past weeks or whatever, but do you guys have anything going on before we head out?
SPEAKER_03Um, I'm working on an album kind of concept I'm trying to come out with. Um it's like gonna be kind of it's all inspired by video games. It'll have some of the response, but I like it. It's it's inspired by like Mir's Edge, Final Fantasy, um, a little bit of like Zelda-esque in there, but it's like super um super story focused, and uh yeah, it's super cool. And I I'm making artwork. I was talking with Salmos about it. Okay. Um gonna have a little storyline. I'm thinking I'm thinking I may the majority of the album may be only physical, speaking of. I think, you know, I think I'm gonna make some try to make some CDs, maybe get a little get a little uh make you know, make a whole little nice little booklet or something to figure it out with it. I think it'd be cool, you know, give it a dope. Yeah, give it away to the five. I'll need a copy. Dude, for sure. So I'm thinking about doing that. But the songs, I'll say I'll share the link with you guys. I just shared it with so much, but I'll keep um I'll keep updating it so it kind of updates the song order. But uh yeah, it's pretty cool so far. Very uh video game soundtrack. You can kind of feel the story through it so far. So I'm excited. But yeah, man, that's about it.
SPEAKER_07I had a little taste of my for myself. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_03Fabulous. He was checking it out.
SPEAKER_07The flavor still lingers.
SPEAKER_03Dude, indeed, do. And that's all that's the only review. Yeah, reviewing MB Royals uh album. Guys, so I got this. Um I thought it was gonna be an eight going in. It wasn't gonna be a hate going in, but I just listened to it for the second time. I thought it would be better.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00What's bad is bad. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's funny, it's funny, uh, Mario, because I when I got in my car, because I was leaving, I went to the grocery store and I got in my car. I said, I was like, man, play me some good, you know. And I you know who I asked. And uh it said, it just went literally to your song, Talking the Ghost. Ooh. I was like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_03I was like, okay, I didn't know, I didn't know Miss Fruit new ball like that. I didn't know Miss Miss Fruit.
SPEAKER_02I was like, play me something good, and it went straight to that. Was the first song that it played.
SPEAKER_03Thank you very much. Thank you very much. That's uh that's cool, man. I appreciate that. Yeah, man, but yeah, this will be Oh Miss Miss Fruit. Yeah, you get what I'm saying. Little fruit assistant. Come on, Sonos. Yeah, it's cool because I feel like uh, you know, I feel like I've always been so inspired by video game music, and this is kind of like super intertwined. And it's cool too, because I'm like, I've been I've been getting inspired by by going back in these old games and like checking out because so many people are so talented. The guy, um, one of my songs is based off Final Fantasy X, and that composer, you know who was hanging out with that composer the other day? John Baptiste. Oh. And he he knows ball. And I'm like, okay, so clearly, like, this guy is a legend. So I'm like, just a just a kind of and and I I'm I'm just you know, I'm a I'm a simpleton a lot of times when it comes to at least musicality and and theory, but like just listening to how these guys like convey so many moods and then they throw them into video games, man. It's so cool. Like video games is such a great form of art because it has like everything in one and you're the you're the hero, you know. So it's definitely a cool thing, uh kind of putting all my my interest into one. But yeah, man, it's been fun. Uh hopefully you'll come out with it in the next year, but who knows what'll happen. Okay. Well, Salmos, you got anything going on, man?
SPEAKER_07Uh well, let me tell you, if you liked Obsession and if you liked backrooms, I've got some nice little goodies and stickers for you guys on my Instagram. Art by Salmos. Check it out, stop by. Um, you know, designed them all myself because I personally love those movies. I don't know if you guys are gonna go see the extended edition of Backrooms I just dropped. In theaters?
SPEAKER_04I think I'm gonna go see it. I just dropped the game, too.
SPEAKER_07It's like an extra 16 minutes. And also there is a uh uh pool rooms movie coming out this Christmas. I don't know if you guys saw that.
SPEAKER_03Is that like backrooms with pool rooms?
SPEAKER_07Uh yeah. Is it the same director? No, this is its own thing, a separate thing. But anyway, anyway. If you like this movie, come check out my Instagram. I've got take I've got stickers for sale just for y'all.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Thank you so much, Samos. VIC, what's going on?
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna be saving my pennies for this PS6 that's coming out. How dare you? Hopefully, I can afford to put it on Kalana so I don't so I can get it. So yeah, that's what I'll be doing. Saving up my money to spend with Sony.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_05No, psych saying, I'm like, what?
SPEAKER_04I was about to get I was about to say. Oh my damn. Well, no, I'm fucking with y'all. Yeah. Well, that's it for you, man.
SPEAKER_05Um, yeah, we'll be keep checking out some of these shows, some of these movies, man. We'll keep y'all updated, you know. Email, email us, you know, let us know what's going on.
SPEAKER_02GMPastapod at gmail.com. And everyone that is, you know, didn't listen to the it's gympastapod at gmail.com.
SPEAKER_05Listen. Mix me in, Mario.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, um myself, I uh I don't know, man. There's a lot of shit going on with me right now. I think um I got this restaurant that we're this franchise that we're we are opening this month. Um we had to push it back for like two weeks because of the signs aren't ready, but we're getting everything. I mean, that happens, you know, restaurants, all of that, that shit happens, you know. It is what it is. So we're getting that ready. We're doing Yam Pasta, we're doing Black Paradigm, we're doing Sisters and Sing. Shout out to the Family Reunion Network. Um Yeah, man, it's it's a it's a lot of stuff going on right now, man. But I am happy that we could definitely do this episode tonight, man. I've been missing my boys. Um, I see Vic sometimes now. Uh but yeah, man. Um, yeah. We're gonna have to we're gonna have to get that, we're gonna have to get the movie dates uh secured so we can all meet up again and hang out because I know we're all busy. So yeah, man, that's it. All right, y'all. All right. I'm your boy, TJ, aka TJ with the sauce. And I'm Mario, aka and be real.
SPEAKER_05And I'm Vic, aka VIC93.
